Havent made it all the way through the vid, but most of you're sd's couldve made it back to stage if you remembered to airdodge straight up before the last up b. Goes surprisingly far. Slightly less applicable to those since you lost youre doible jump, but still helpful, you can do a boosted up b that goes way higher if you double jump at the same time as up b. Btw sick orcane, and loving the rivals 2 content. Im excited to see how you do in tourneys

New player here . What throw should I be going for at Low percentage? I see he down throws a lot , is the up throw not good to start a combo at low percentage? Should I d-throw and then try and tech chase with d-tilt?

Hey, I'm not a top level player or anything, but you're on to the right track, down throw tech chase is great for wracking up damage. You should note that low percentage damage is probably the hardest to put on in Rivals 2 atm because of crouch cancelling and lots of quick options out of hitstun across the cast (except maybe lox.), so if you're having a hard time at low percent combos that's normal. Another option to try is up throw, but you have to direct your bubbles and nail an upair/nair or you miss the opportunity. Keeping your opponents on the floor to use your tilts as Orcane is generally a great idea because you they are outstanding and you have better grounded movement, so downtheow is great for that.

You can by holding a direction (every bubble moves work like that). Use down special then hold right will move bubbles to the right.

@@morimementos Yeah, you can aim them in puddle and on the upthrow. You essentially need to guess their initial DI though, as in the case that you aim them right and they DI left, they will fall out after 1-2 hits, which almost makes it unsafe on use. However, it's still worth using - you can no-direction it and follow up after it's use with nair/upair most of the time. Also consider that if they DI are pre-emptively DI-ing down to minimize how much they get hit by bubbles, it is going to be extremely hard for them to react to the fast downthrow animation, which will likely mean they won't tech, leading to an easy tilt follow up. So mix it up!

Orcane’s busted, and there’s only ten characters in this game so far. Falco is a very accessible combo character with great tools that held up in base ultimate… not the best in the game but not a crazy take for the time 🤷‍♂️
