@@jessann9212 ....If you actually look at nature, you will see "ruination" everywhere -- such as orcas "ruining" the lives of various other creatures of the sea, in order to eat, but also to play with their prey (throwing it about) before eating them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJyUh5eHrcqHpJY . Yes, "the animals" ARE here for humans (just as seal pups are "here" for the orcas). Human predation and exploitation of nature is every bit as "natural" as all of the other predation and exploitation by other living entities.

@@hannahburke7328 that's exactly what it's like!! They get to take a break from swimming and they love the rocks are very small and roll easily as they head straight over and into them. It gives them a great massage, as well as gets rid of any pests on their delicate skin. They play around with each other with no worries about absolutely anything. They don't even worry about us being there. Absolute trust and respect for us and from us. So ya, it's like a couple hours at the best spa ever!!! I'm loving listening to your comments in the background, it's hilarious and I'm sure a lot of people are thinking it too! But what amazes me is obviously they know they can't be beached there as the rocks are small and loose and roll with them unlike sand where they'd just sink. That being said, the young ones are the most curious and brave and will get as close to something it wants to see, that being you. He kept coming over and for a second I almost thought he was going to be on shore! Until you take a look behind him and you see this 5ft dorsal fin coming closer and closer behind him and then your curiosity goes from baby to this absolutely enormous, breathtaking, stunning creature!! You're so lucky to be able to experience that and I'm hoping that I can come in July/August of 2023. Thanks for sharing your beautiful footage and making the rest of us jealous! Cheers ☺️

You have to study marine biology first lol. It is illegal to swim with, feed, touch or otherwise harass cetaceans. Huge fines and jail time if you are found guilty. It is tempting to get closer and 'play with' them, but these are wild beings and it is better to be respectful and give them space.

And I also know that they LOVE human interactions, hence why they chose that specific spot on the beach to go scratch their bellies and also why they got that close to shore! The Northern Resident Orcas are not known for going that close to shore unlike the Patagonian and New Zealand Orcas...So this is a suuuper special and once in a lifetime moment for the people who witnessed this!!

+stephanie daigle you know they love human interaction, because you can talk to animals?? Are you sure you’re not just a Pokémon trainer? All it takes is one simple accident for these animals to seriously injure someone. Then all the work people have done to preserve their image will go out the window, just because “experts” like you want to be down with a group of wild animals.

Omg!! Awwe! Yes, the 'exfoliating' 😆 ..on the 'pebbles', but I also feel SO STRONGLY, that they wanted you to join them. You should've gone closer while you can!! I couldn't have stopped myself. The aren't even Wales! (Ever seen a WHALE, with a DORSAL FIN).. just sayin'. They are the largest member of the 🐬❤ Dolphin Family ..'delfinidae', etc. Anyway, THANK YOU FOR SHARING SUCH BEAUTIFUL, FOOTAGE OF A TRUE, *MAJICKAL Moment!!!!! I couldn't have resisted. Next time- go closer! Please!!? There has NEVER BEEN EVEN 1, unprovoked attack on a human..by a WILD orca , let alone a fatality.... Next time, you get that opportunity to, PUHLEEEEEEEEASE!!!!- & go in, enough to just stroke one..help scratch them! & Get pics.. 💜 & let them AVE the 'intelligent, and EMPATHETIC connection' we have with them, they want when APPROACHING US LIKE THAT, etc.. & not taking off but continually making themselves vulnerable, so close to you. Especially when they have *intentionally.. half beached themselves like that, putting THEMSELVES at their most vulnerable, right beside you! 😆😍 I can't tell how old the youngest one there is.... I'm wondering if as well as getting a scratch, it's a *school day..... There seems to be a part where the older female, and the big male and another 'sibling/auntie/'? Kind of 'gentle guide a little one up onto the pebbles, and 'block' her (maybe him) gentle, but still stop her from being able to get out, just for a short while) then they back up and let her wiggle off the embankment part. They do this, so the young ones don't panic, if it happens when they are teaching how to *feed in this manner, etc. They have to learn to remain calm and sometimes, wait til the tide comes in, if they get overexcited & get too far up, they can't wiggle back off. It's because of not seeing any food here, & watching the others change their behaviour from 'scratching' to helping with the lesson, while needed. They seem to do it a few times. You are SO lucky to have had this experience!!!! 😍 ✌ From, Down Under 🐨
