Spooky! I was humming this tune to myself today. Such a hit for Mr. Handel. I always loved him but he became much more meaningful to me after visiting the Foundling Hospital Museum, where a very lively terracotta portrait bust is on display. This is such a beautiful video and the performances are ravishing.

Looks like the scene from Spielberg's 'Close Encounters' when the hero's repair truck is stopped by space aliens on the country road. Where 'ere you gawk...

I have O Level Music and epilepsy linked to my autism. See what I'm saying? Nice to hear one of the arias I sang for the practical component of the exam but a bit tricky to be subjected to spinning light. Not a totally inclusive production but nice voice. 🤔

It's hard not to imagine the production team with the fan, the rain bucket, the fireworks, just throwing stuff at a spinning performer in front of a camera. Not gonna lie, I bursted out laughing when I saw the fireworks. 🤣

Film students and musicians must be encouraged to explore ideas, otherwise what’s the point? Museums in D major?

They must also be ready to acknowledge when their efforts fall short.

@@renzo6490 They would accept that not everyone will be positive about their efforts, but in pushing boundaries in film and music, isn’t that inevitable?

I just wish he'd refrained from using his tremolo in every conceivable moment. I've never understood why anyone loving music would want to muddy a beautiful tone with this permanent wobble.
