Now, I’m no expert in how spellcasting works with the Anvil of Doom, but I’m certain that it has a spell that grants either a second move or a reserve move. I know Luca doesn’t like movement spells, but it would have made a huge difference in this game by allowing his Longbeards to deny the initial round of impact hits that decimated his unit and possibly would have allowed the King to rejoin the fight after taking the back the flank rather than twirling his beard in the corner for the back half of the battle. Great battle regardless and mark one down in The Book for Darryl Digson.

Luka should have used the double movement spell from the Anvil on the Longbeards. Could have taken away the impact hits from the mass chariot charge and completely changed the game.

Still a good batrep, but shame the result was effectively determined by just not using one of the Anvil’s main effects.

Luka should consider master rune of hesitation on the long beards, get rid of impact hits, furious charge, chopped, etc.

You could have used the Rune of Haste & Urgency and move the Longbeards 1" in front of the chariots and deny all the Impact Hits at 54:10 !
