There will not be Orcust video in Edopro. ◼ The new support it's really good but Bystials kill the deck as always, so not sure if the deck will be more relevant after the new support. ◼ Instead Horus engine, you can play Azamina cards or Fiendsmith. @@CryonicCy Yeah, you can run fiendsmith in Orcust. Probably better than Horus with the new stuff. If you mean running Orcust as another engine alongside Fiendsmith... yeah no. No mermaid means the deck isn't generic.

The New Link-1 now allows for a turn 1 full Generaider combo, just like the times when Linkross was legal. Girsu send World Armor, them make token, then use token for the new Galatea to search World Crown, make Key Blademaster, set Succession, use it to summon World Armor, then you banish whatever available for Fusion Trishula, and the rest is obvious.

The Horus Engine is now the brickiest part of this build. It also doesn't help as much with going second as you'd want it to. That said, being able to set up Zombie Vampire is pretty nice in a deck like this. I'm probably going to stick with a Striker Tear variant though, Camellia dumping Raye mid-combo hard punishes Nibiru via Azalea, and if they wait too long with it you'll have your GY set up for the opponent's turn, and a Rulk or Mudragon set up to make future interactions more difficult.

I do not agree with this. Orochi can banish a lot of your cards that you need, and generally doesn’t synergize with modern builds.

I don't even think you WANT to run return. Or Horus tbh, the link 1 does a great job at being a discard outlet on it's own, so running 3 other cards to discard just seems bad.

@@e-tan3911 honestly true I run the runick version anyway been trying to use the link 1 to search world armor and summon it out with wand to get the counter trap. You still want at least 1 return for the grind game

Tbh runick kinda has the same problems as the horus version, I don't think the new stuff helps them much at all, especially since the link 1 directly conflicts with the engine for the emz and field spell(plus the link 4 isn't good without babel). I think right now the best stuff for the deck is something like Azamina, which isn't as discard heavy as Horus while providing a negate for bystials, and is all dark so it doesn't conflict with impulse.

@@FostedFlake Okay, you can continue if you want, just wanted to put my 2 cents out there. I will say bystials do hurt more often now since the link 1 is such a big target. Banishing the link 1 when it tries to special summon itself back makes you have to prioritize shuffling it back with the link 4 instead of getting back any of your main deck orcust names, which you'd rather do, especially if you want to recycle one of your spells/traps like cresendo. Bystials aren't killer but they do suck to play through if your opponent is smart with them, so I'd rather set up ways to play around them.

Have you used Typhon a lot? I feel everytime someone summons typhon they are about to lose because a slow bounce and 3k+ monster effect floodgate is just not enough of a play.

An Orcust deck that actually utilizes Orcust to the almost fullest. I'd give it an easy 8 in resiliance tho, mostly when playing Orcustrated Core, which is pretty good now with the Link 1.

I would not play Core. Ding already accomplishes what core would in destruction protection and the targeting protection just isn't worth banishing your resources. I wouldn't be playing any additional Orcust S/Ts and just add a Crown since you can just add that if you open Babel or Crescendo, and it's not bad to open. If I were absolutely forced to add any S/T to my deck though, it'd probably be Einsatz over anything else
