While Foreigner is my favorite class and I would love more lovecraftian entities, Given the placement of the marker on the globe, I still think it's going to be a ruler Ordeal call (Plus I like the idea of us going to the Vatican and fighting a pope)

I mean it's not really that far off for lilith to connect with a lovecraftian entity and go rogue on the Vatican, the entities could have great sinbolism while breaking reality and invading a holy place (and as a plus we could still fight a pope) but they could also make the next ordeal call be ruler vs foreigners making it be saints vs demons

Couple of things: 1. I personally suspect that the Foreiger Ordeal Call may be the last one, and specifically have to do with the Alien God itself, acting as either the penultimate of climax of this arc. 2. There's a gay male appealing gatcha game called Tokyo Afterschool Summoners that actually has several Lovecraftian wntities as pullable characters, including thoggsothua and Nyarlathotep. It's obviously for a very different market, but it might be interesting to compare howdifferent games might implement similar figures. 3. While all the Foreigners so far are powered by Old Ones, they haven't been the old ones themselves. While Hokusai is clearly representing Cthulu, at the end if the day we're summoning Hojusai, not Cthulu. So while we might fight an old one as a boss, but probably not directly summon them as gatcha. 4. Keep in mind that so far all the Ordeal Calls have been about understanding the purpose of all the extra classes, so the Foreigner Ordeal Call is likely more to understand why Foreigners are symmonable in the first place. This actually kind of goes against Lovecraftian writing, where things are scarier in part because the are un-understandable, but the theme/purpose of the Ordeal Calls means that we may understand the Old Ones' motives by the end.

Technically Lilith forms part of the Cthulhu Mythos, being an offspring of Nyarlathotep, so she wouldn't have problems fitting in a foreigner ordeal.

While they might be shoehorning in another OC chapter with the Foreigner class (since Bastet was teased), I think they’re still going to make a Ruler OC since: - Typhon in mythology is sealed underneath Italy (and also because the El-Melloi novels are currently doing a story arc about T-Ephemeros) - The words “Divine Comedy” appear in the original Ordeal Call teaser - They introduced King Ahsoka as a new Ruler class servant in the Samurai Remnant collab - The current OC is located in Italy too

Something important to point out, the Ordeal Call girl could very well be Lilith be it for a Ruler or Foreigner Ordeal Call as the Figure of Lilith is also present in Lovecraftian Mythology meaning that she could very well be a Ruler or Foreigner

A lovecraftian deity almost guarenteed to show up in the Foreigner Ordeal Call if this Christmas event was indeed a foreshadowing for it is Bast, "The evil god of cats", AKA that time Lovecraft adapted the egyptian god of cats into his works because he likes cats so much. The villainous cat girl who summons the Byakhee is covered in Egyptian symbolism, specifically detected to be some type of divine spirit, and when discussing the star chart she helps you build while pretending to be a good guy it is specifically pointed out that it points at the Cat Eye Nebula. This is described as "creepy", because its like a cat eye constantly staring at you.

OC 4 is more likely to be Ruler. Especially with a lot of info pointing to an ordeal call being based on Dante's Inferno and Sovreign's Memoir 4 being in Italy. (Also on a somewhat related note, Count of Monte Cristo has one of the most accurate depictions of hellfire in all of media, being black flames as the bible refers to Hell as eternal darkness and also a lake of fire.)

I have a theory that Ruler won't be our enemies on Ordeal Call. In the Fate Lore, Rulers have the role of "arbiter/judges" on the Holy Grail war. What I think that could happen is that we gonna get a Foreigner Ordeal Call, and we gonna need the help of the Ruler Servants to defeat whatever is the final boss.

I think that OC4 is still going to be the Ruler Ordeal Call, but we do know from some foreshadowing that there's going to be a Foreigner one as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Voyager ends up playing a key role in resolving that one-- a bridge between humanity and the foreign stars, racing onward with all the hopes and dreams of that one pale blue dot and all that.

Or the demon girl is Helen Vaughan from the great god Pan story that inspired the Dunwich Horror, and a demigoddess of Pan who in the Lovecraftian expended stuff is an avatar to the black goat, and her nature is similar to a lesser outer god by the name of The Mother Of Pus which is a child between the black goat and a human

The Outer Gods are either going to be in an Ordeal Call or are setting stuff up for Part 3. Sherlock I believe prior to the end of Traum is responsible for us being able to recognize them and he is the one who labels them as such. Mysterious Heroine XX and Voyager are labeled foreigners because Sherlock is likely Daoloth and sees them as invaders. If you don't know who Daoloth is then I recommend reading up on them and then watching Holmes' noble phantasm. Daoloth & his astrologer-priests are said to be able to see the past and the future, and even how objects extend into and travel between different dimensions. I can't not think this is what they were doing with Holmes. I could be wrong but if he was the harbinger of all future outer god incursions it would make sense considering everything he did and the fact that the first Outer God tried to break into reality only a few months after he was released. Going off of this theory that we can no longer recognize them (and why we are incorrectly labeling some servants as foreigners by our own definition) I think that we're dealing with a perfected Imaginary Scramble. We have outer god aspects already among us who are waiting for something before initializing whatever plan they have. Consider for a moment that we do not label Van Goh or Abigail as foreigners anymore ever since Traum. I think pre-Traum was the last actual instance we have seen any new Outer God aligned servants and I do not think that's a coincidence. We mentioned Nyarlathotep but Tut is the inspiration for an avatar of Nyarlathotep in Nephren-Ka. There is also some designs of Tut's staff that are more aligned with Nephren-Ka than Tut so I think it wouldn't be impossible for this to actually be Nyarlathotep. Tut has some interesting lines with a few foreigners as well which is definitely suspicious. I think another lovecraftian deity that could be hiding in plain sight is Atlach-Nacha who could be using Kachin-Koji as a vessel. Will need to do a bit more research on this one but the entire concept of this character screams sus to me. Bast or Bubastis or Bastet on the other hand I feel is going to be a foil to the Outer Gods. She's an Elder God and an enemy to the Great Old Ones so FGO might play with this idea a bit. If anything though this could be setting up Part 3 just as much as it could be setting up something to still come in Part 2. Hastur - Something to consider is that this last xmas event was written by the fate/requiem author could it be possible that Requiem has been on hold while the author works on a main chapter of FGO allowing them to flesh out Hastur/Euclid? Honestly there's a lot FGO could do with the concept.

Honestly I would love for kthanid to show up and be the only good lovecraftian entity to be on on are side at the same time he would be a boss that you eventually face due to him being cthulhus brother/sibling

I think that OC4 is going to be a Ruler focused chapter and the Lovecraft stuff will be more event stuff, maybe a chapter later on, but if it is a foreigner chapter then I’m exited to see how nasu will treat them.

I dont think nasu will write OC 4, he already write that long summer + mooncancer OC and he preparing chapter after OC. Maybe he also write tsukihime other route

@ I understand but he still supervises a lot Fgo stories, so even if it’s written by another writer the ideas will be filtered by Nasu’s vision of the Nasuverse.

I believe ordeal call 4 will still be ruler however every extra class we lost will be gone again as well as the ruler class itself. We will not be able to use standard class servants at all. That means we will only have access to foreigner, pretender, and beast class servants with foreigner class as main servants we will be using

I could see we getting a ruler ordeal call that leads into the foreigner one. Because rulers are probably the class that need the least amount of explanation for the world to need, i could see one outer god hijacking the ordeal call by masking their own class during the entire story to help us, only to reveal in the end that by technicality, the world has accepted foreigners, allowing for them to act and coming into reality. I think that because i think the world doesn't even consider foreigners in the ordeal call equation, so there isn't going to have an official ordeal call for them. This would be the reason to have one.

@darkhorseman90 We did, but the writing made it sound so dumb. Were everyone is an Alter Ego but instead actually making it clear, they made a dumb plot twist that doesn't really make sence since the characters don't act differently. Maby if they forced the class to all the servants other than Saver Medusa then the plot twist would hit harder.

If Lilith was to show up and be both a Lovecraftian entity or just Lilith in general then it would make double sense for Abby to be involved since she is our good little Christian girl and would be interesting to see her Lovecraftian side go all "Divine Angel Judgement" type of thing cause there are "demons" out and about. Could just be an Alter costume like KP but still would be interesting to see.

Tsathoggua would work as a 'stuck in place' kind of boss. I find it highly unlikely we'd get him as a Old One inhabiting a spirit origin to be summonable as a servant in the way the other Foreigners are. Bastet showing up for Christmas leads to hope she might break out of NPC jail, but it might depends on what other plans there are. I can also see her being a Valentine's Day Servant possibly. Bastet was relatively benign compared to some of the other outer beings in the Mythos. Nyarlathotep showing up in full force rather than a part of BB would be fantastic. Especially if they give a firmer nod to the Demonbane series than BB Summer's NP gave us. Nyarlathotep's appearance could also lead us to his ancient rival Nodens, another Elder God from the Dreamlands in much the same way Bastet was. Potential candidates not covered are Cthugha, Ithaqha, Gla'aki or possibly Yig. Also, my utter disappointment when the Christmas event with even passive Foreigner involvement and Byakhee inclusion seems to have had no appearance from Tulzscha, the Old One most associated with the winter solstice...

Honestly I just want to see Foreigners finally be real threat, and Salem Abby finally coming back from her journey. And Shanshan coming back. They completely dropped that plot point…

I wonder what our "choice" is going to be with Foreigners. Avengers got the boot for pretty obvious reasons, but if I were ever going to nominate a Class as "The Evil Class," my second choice is almost certainly Foreigner. It's no coincidence that it's the Class most associated with the Threat To Humanity trait, so on the offchance that we do somehow find a way to accept the Foreigner Class, I am *very* interested to see what the reasoning might be.

Ehhh...I thought we already had what was basically the Foreigner Ordeal Call with Imaginary Scramble. Not only was it an event focus on Foreigners, we got an actual explanation for what they were during the that event via Caster Giles. Having an Ordeal Call focused on them on top of Imaginary Scramble just seems overkill, especially if Rulers are also going to be apart of Ordeal Call 4 and playing a minor role. I'm sorry but between Foreigners and Rulers, Rulers are the ones who desperately need an Ordeal Call focus on them because, since they were first introduced, we've gotten so many rulers who seem to contradict the whole impartial judge/arbitrator that it feels like the current definition no longer really can apply to them and we need to get a new, redefine, condition reasons for Rulers. Not an Ordeal Call that either reinforces what we already know about Foreigner servants or one that basically takes everything established in Imaginary Scramble between the story itself and Caster Giles and throwing it out a window, effective making Imaginary Scramble a waste of everyone's time, just to establish new rules and reasons for the class. Also, I thought the only Ordeal Calls we were going to have to deal with were focus on Alter-Egos, Avengers, and Rulers, with Moon Cancer being a surprise/secret Ordeal Call. If Foreigner gets an Ordeal Call, we might as well get one for Pretenders since we would have done one for every EXTRA Class but them.
