Order Modification in IBM Sterling OMS

IBM Sterling OMS gives us the capability to modify an order. There are some conditions though that need to be met to modify an order for example the order cannot be modified if it is canceled, shipped or carried already. The order modification process includes change the shipment address, add new products to the order, cancel the order etc. Order can be cancelled using the cancelOrder API and Integration Server. In this video session we will guide you how to cancel an Order in IBM Sterling OMS using both cancelOrder API and by setting up an integration Server. In the first part we use HTTP API Tester to use the cancelOrder API and send the input XML to successfully cancel an order. We also demonstrate how we can check whether the order is successfully cancelled or not in Order Console in IBM Sterling Supply Chain Applications. In the second part we create Synchronous and Asynchronous services in Application Manager and then start the integration server. Then we launch ActiveMQ to send a message queue to our integration server and check in logs whether the order is cancelled or not.
