They really do gloss over just how loyal everyone who didn’t plead Not Guilty by virtue of Imperius Curse was to Voldemort. It really does take a different kind of unflinching will to look down the barrel of demons/undead that can literally drain every last drop of joy and happiness from every waking and sleeping moment and say “I knew what I signed up for, come Hell or high water.”

Hey, Love the POV videos, but i have one suggestion. just using the colour outlines can be a little confusing when trying to differentiate who is speaking especially when you are switching back and forth rapidly between multiple characters, in the harry potter videos in particular it can get confusing when voldemort himself or the horcruxes are speaking. have you considered using some other visual identifier like a hat or change of clothes or something? either way, love the videos keep them coming!
@Nomsynho4 күн бұрын
Ah okay I thought changing the location would be fine, but yeah I'll avoid using the similar colours in future, but the idea was that Nagini and Voldemort should be largely the same except voice

2:40 I mean, that ring is a family ring. It's basically symbolic of his direct bloodline tie to Salazar Slytherin The ring symbolizes his wizard blood (As opposed to his father's muggle blood) None of his Horcruxes are random (Maybe except for Nagini sort of, and Harry by accident, lol)
@Nomsynho3 күн бұрын
That's actually the entire joke mainly because I wanted the Slytherine horcrux to be jealous of the Gaunt family ring, but also that the stone is the stone of resurrections, which is like one of the three most powerful objects ever made..
@Billyblue983 күн бұрын
@@Nomsynho I had to look up the Resurrection Stone because I was like "Didn't Dumbledore hide that in the Snitch?" I had no idea it was in Gaunt's ring, lol. I guess I forgot It sounds from the wiki like Voldemort didn't even know it was in there (Which. . actually does make sense if Slytherin's talking down to it, lol.) But now that I'm thinking about the interactions between the Horcruxes, it's also interesting that Slytherin didn't even refer to Gaunt by name, just as "Ring" That is some major shade being thrown here

I mean, she cares about rules in so far as they serve her agenda. They're a tool to manifest and empower her whims. Someone who truly cares about rules should be shown abiding rules they dislike, not enforcing ones they do.
@callmev35313 күн бұрын
@ , Pretty much, yeah. And unfortunately, the corrupt system in which she had station gave her the authority do use it how she saw fit. But again, Tom's aim was even higher than hers. He didn't want to be a person within the system dealing judgment on those beneath her, he wanted to be above the government, above even death itself, and he would exploit the corruption in that system to do it. In short, his ambition and greed ultimately dwarfed hers.

It doesn't fit. It was really much more sinister and scary than how you put it.
