It's to late now but you need to filter the pond water though the nylon filter to catch all the food particles and fish waste then run it through clean activated carbon not the dusty crap it's clean and made for fish tank filters. The activated carbon filters all the chemicals and toxins out of the water and the nylon gets all the pieces of waste out of it so the carbon doesn't get plugged up and make the water go around it instead of through it. The pond will be crystal clear in no time and stay clear until the carbon sack or what ever you have it in gets plugged up or needs to be replaced
