As a native New Yawker I can not justify paying all that money FOR ONE FRAKIN' SLICE! I get theme park pricing, but Pizza is such a quick, simple meal that no slice is worth $8+. Every slice we found in all four of the theme parks was about that same price. It’s just theme park pricing. You are going to pay more for whatever you buy in a theme park

My favorite Star Wars video is probably episode 3. We've eaten at Alien Pizza Planet a few too many times, simply because it was the easiest place to take the kids after a long day in the park, but I agree that its terrible. I'm so glad Toontown now has the flop-over, which we tried recently and it was excellent.

After flying out to Disneyland & California Adventures at 4am & walking around in the heat drinking brews til’ around midnight I ended up walking back to the hotel solo & stumbled across the Pizza Press across the street from Disney to this day it is burned into my head as the best pizza I’ve ever had!! Pickle Pizza is a eastern seaboard thing, and for that we apologize. 🤣 The slice you got looked dry and bad. The cheese has to be hot, the pickles have to be wet and briny, and there has to be plenty of fresh dill seasoning sprinkled on top. And the sauce of course needs to be a flavorful dill ranch or a really punchy béchamel. Plain béchamel (white sauce) just won't do. That's what makes a good pickle pizza. I promise you it is delicious!

Yes, do churros! Best Churro I ever had was at 2021 Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. It was a chocolate churro that tasted a lot like the cookie part of an oreo, and it had this purple icing and it was AMAZING! 😁

I've got another idea for you! One is to search for the most creative menu items at restaurants at each of your favorite theme parks and try those. I know it's not exactly the same thing as comparing a pizza or fried chicken, but you'll be picking out the items that you think are most creative and trying them (the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich from Pym's Kitchen being an example; you can't get anything like it at other theme parks, and I've never seen anything like it offered at regular restaurants), and then deciding which theme park has the best creative menu item. Another idea, while it's not comparing theme park foods, would be to go to Olvera Street and compare the taquitos from each of the food stands there, and maybe a sit-down restaurant or two. I'm always curious which stand at Olvera Street has the best taquitos, but I don't get to go there often to try the different stands, and usually when I am there, the person I'm with wants to go to one of the sit-down restaurants there. Another idea would be for you to explore the LA Farmers Market (or some other SoCal landmark), testing some of the food items there.

I've had pizza at all 4 theme parks, not a fan of the pizza from DCA or Pizza Planet at disneyland. Just tried the flopover pizza earlier this week, very good! My favorite is pizza from Luigi's, it's a must every time I take my picky 4 year old to Universal, she loves it and usually lets me have a bite lol I get my own slice on my solo trips. Knotts pizza from their prop shop is a very close second. I know you didn't try it in this video but I am not a fan of the pizza from the pizza place near Ghostrider

If you want some great pizza outside of the park that's nearby, Marri's Pizza on Katella and Walnut is so good. They do have a pizza called the Matterhorn but I have never tried it. The pizza is thick and has a nice amount of sauce on each slice. The parking lot looks a little sketchy but don't let it fool you 😂
