Soooo happy getting to see HK through your eyes! my parents are from HK and it's a very regular thing to give your plates/bowls/utensils a rinse before you use it, even at home. re: the sweetness of the pork bun, the lower sweetness level is for desserts and and sweet things, but HK/cantonesse cuisine skews on the sweeter end of the savory spectrum (if that makes any sense).

As a local HKer, there are two things I want to share: - we do take the trams (dingdings) when we are not in a rush (which 99% of the time we are 😂). I personally love it! - we always joke about how lame the laser show is (it's basically a bunch of laser shooting around). I mean the city view at night is already incredible by itself!
