@@OrdinarySausage I luv your channel of sausages. But your knowledge of cooking and products needs improvement. Tendons are the best bit of the animal when cooked properly with seasonings and would make a fantastic sausage (use a binding agent). You could make 2 types of sausages - cooked tendon and broth [reduce until thickish] (revisit of your water sausage except flavoured - if done right it would be like the runny yolk over rice). You could do a comparison of tendons/meat - pig, bull, octopus, squid, snail (I believe have similar texture) Keep sausaging!

I had tendon at a Vietnamese restaurant. It was basically just like eating a glob of fat. It's also flavorless. It basically just takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it in.

Joshua Wells Sometimes things are incorrectly labeled tendon. I remember one pho place had tendon as an ingredient but it ended up being tripe. it looks pretty similar after all.

Might have to revisit this one. Boil the tendon or maybe put it in the smoker for like 8+ hours. It's supposed to be a meat jello, which is really good and it should melt in your mouth. It should make a moderately good sausage.

This reminds me of the ocasional mcdonalds chicken nugget *every 20 to 40 on average in my experience but you can get genuinely unlucky to and get more* Where you get the unchewable tendon piece in the nugget and have to spit it in a napkin. Im genuinely sadder than I was having viewed this video but it made me feel something so theres that lmfao.

The only time I've tried tendon was in a bowl of pho at a pho restaurant I went to once. From what I can remember, it comes in every bowl of pho by default. I couldn't bite through it.

They cooked it wrong if you couldn’t bite through it. It’s basically collagen, so if cooked correctly it should be soft, almost like a slightly chewy version of jello (like a gummy candy). When I’ve had pho at restaurants with tendon, it has always been easy to bite or chew.

Now I'm a newcomer to the channel, but I've watched a lot of these in the past few days and beef tendon is the first thing I've seen that just stopped the meat grinder. Showing my dad later as proof that you aren't obligated to eat the gristle. Tasting like beef does not prove it's edible. Couldn't say it better myself it's like chewing an ear
