I was gonna comment about that as well. The Japanese have been making fish sausages for forever. And fish sausages/balls/cakes/etc have been immensely popular for forever in Asia in general as well. I am not satisfied with this episode. Sashimi should be raw fish, not cooked. In my honest opinion, I think that the party tray should have been ground all together, formed into the shape of a sausage, then bunned and eaten. That way it would stay true to the rawness of the sashimi.
