Fun fact, he pronounces it correctly. Here in America we actually pronounce it incorrectly. We stole the English language and made it different and added slang. Using the word aluminum and the pronunciation is different from American English to say British English. You know the British kind of were the originators of the English language so we actually pronounce a lot of words incorrectly. It's ok common core is a crap way to have kids learn, I'm sure you didn't know better.

I hate being the know it all, but M855 is not an armor penetrating round, but rather a barrier penetrating round. It's made for punching through walls and other barriers to attack enemy personnel behind them. Against armor it's no different, perhaps even worse, than a standard cartridge.

How about M193 from a 20"? 30-06 black tip?

M193 from a 20” barrel only works against level III steel plates, from all the testing I’ve seen. UHWMPE, and especially if it has a ceramic strike face, defeats lead core rounds pretty easily.

Cool channel but the shape charge test wasn’t that good in my opinion. Shape charges are supposed to have a gap between the object that you want to destroy and the charge
@meriweatherlewis62982 ай бұрын
The shaped charge was likely to close to plate, so there probably wasn’t enough stand off distance, therefore; the jet didn’t have enough time/distance to fully form before impacting the plate.

Is the "liquid binary explosive" legal to sell like "Tannerite" is?
@brysonbermes12645 жыл бұрын
Yes. You must have a federal explosives license tho. And live near a texas machine gun and ordanance depot
@OrdnanceLab5 жыл бұрын
As an unmixed kit, yes they would be legal to sell to someone without an FEL in the same manner that Tannerite is. But once they're mixed, they fall under the same laws and regulations as any other explosive materials. Unlike Tannerite, the issue you would have with them is getting it to go off, as it's a very stable explosive that needs quite a thump to detonate. To get reliable detonation, we have a boost our caps with detcord.

“Anybody and their brother’s got a .50 cal” if they’re that common then that’s why you should test it 😂. Frags are cool and all but between the shockwave and multidirectional shrapnel a single plate isn’t going to do all that much when the rest of your body looks like Swiss cheese. The plate being able to stop a .50 is more impressive since it’s a greater mass, spear point, and going as fast as grenade’s shrapnel. Overall, not really the most practical test, though I’m fairly certain you guys just wanted an excuse to blow stuff up lol 😂 which to be fair is great content for youtube.
