@@lifeisforadv So we had this cool trip planned, but it all got messed up cause we spent most of the time outrunning the fires. We started in Astoria; we’re supposed to hit the redwoods, camp at crater lake and end the trip visiting a few friends in Bend and Prineville. We ended up staying I’m Brookings and we’re pretty much got cut off from heading south or east. So I just jumped on my AllTrails app and bounced our way back up 101 hiking and just finding stuff to do all the way back to Astoria. Still was a pretty cool trip all around even with the radon change up...

Duuuude that sounds exactly like my trip. We left memorial day so basically right when the fires went up. Then we got blocked at lincoln so we had to wait. It was nutty.

Glad you winged it and made it better than sitting home in lockdown but we are cursed in 2020 no matter what we do it feels 😂

@@lifeisforadv We left the day after Memorial Day... It was nuts! A helicopter was literally dumping water right above us while we were getting rerouted through a detour. It’s crazy how different our footage is though. All my skylines and backgrounds are red, hazy and smoky lol. Got some dope photos of Thor’s Well though🤙🏽

That was some amazing stuff! I went as far as Montana on the way I was hit by a snowstorm in Douglass Wyoming I wasn't expecting it and my 2 wheel drive Texas truck couldn't handle it lol and skid off the highway twice. Nice to see you again brother!

Is it always cold? Planning on taking a trip there mid September but not sure about the cold and if i am able to swim around that time

It’s all up in the air with weather. I see locals in the water but it is cold and will give you a brain freeze if you’re heads under water too long. I can do it but I’d much rather be in a wetsuit or on a sunny day, on the beach taking in the warm sun. Always bring a warm jacket or windbreaker. We do get a constant wind on most days unless you find a nice cove beach to enjoy
