Sideways rain is an Oregon specialty. I lived there for 20 years, and I really miss it.

That’s cool you lived there for so long! I can see why you’d miss it, such a beautiful state.

What an adventure!! How long does low tide usually last?
@NICOLEGOESEXPLORING
@NICOLEGOESEXPLORING 2 жыл бұрын
It varies, but the tide tables will indicate the tide (negative or low number is best) and you can tell when the number increases that the tide is coming in. 😊

Illegal to pump your own gas?!😱 I’ve never heard of such a thing! Good to know before I make a trip to the NW. LOVE your photography in this video. What kind of camera and lens do you use?

Yeah, it’s a crazy concept when you’re used to pumping it yourself! 😄 I use a Sony A7r iii and I have a 50mm f1.8 and 24-240mm f/3.5-6.3 lens (used this one the most).

@@NICOLEGOESEXPLORING Such a wild concept for sure!😄 Thanks for the info on the lenses. That was going to be another question I had for you after I watched a few more of your Oregon trip videos - whether or not you switched lenses while out and about! Loving your travel and photography content. You’re inspiring me to want to get out and do some more travel & photography of my own🤗

No problem! And thank you! I typically stick with the 24-240 while traveling so I can capture landscape and wildlife without having to switch lenses. Travel photography is my favorite, have fun!!

What time of year was this taken?! I'm planning a road trip back home to Beaverton along the coast from l.a. County

I was there in the month of April. If you want to know more specifically which day, each day/video shows the date at the beginning of the day. Hope that helps! Have a great trip!
