I ran this back a few times....but have confusion on an element of #2 running the out,  running the vert (outside release). In Hammer (Vs Twins) what i hear Bartee saying is that the CB would carry the #1 vertical (o/s release) but then would come down for the out by #2 and that the WLB would then "Cut" #1, should you get a Dig, Curl, Etc. Later he says that the ball will take him to the out by #2. For an i/s release vertical by #1 and out by #2, the CB would immediately trigger to take the out by #2. and WLB would "Cut" #1. But on an outside vertical release by #1 it sounds like he says the CB will carry the vertical and then come down for the o/s by #2 and the WLB "Cuts" #1. So, my question is, why not just have the CB take #1 all the way in this scenario and have the WLB stay with the #2.

I think bc the Will would be too far inside to effectively cover #2 into the flat.
