Oregon Surfing: Shorties

Took a day trip to the coast to shake off the winter blues AND surf my newly shaped twin-fin. Scoped a spot or two and ended up back at shortsands. The PNW has one of the most beautiful coast lines - especially when the sun hits.

is the surf consistent in Oregon?

I would say it’s pretty consistent, but not consistently good. It can big and unruly a big part of winter with a few good weeks and can be small in the summer time, but still surfable most of summer.

Haha every now and then you get lucky and get a bit of “warmer” water from a south swell 🙂 and a bit of sun ☀️ heating up that wetsuit!
