Oreion sand reeper maintenance and performance upgrades!

In the shop working on our 2012 sand reeper. We are addressing some routine maintenance as well as aftermarket upgrades to the steering and upper ball joints. Also on the the to do list is a AMR500 super charger paired with aftermarket fuel injectors and inter cooler for mo power!!

thanks for sharing. I have ran across an 08 here in N. Louisiana for 1800 bucks. It looks to be about in the same shape as this one. Motor and trans are fine. 4x4 works well too. The only problem is the control arms on the rear have torn out on the frame. some modifications are in order to get it going again.

I’ve tried that . Says my vin# hasn’t been registered as sold from the dealer. So I guess I’ll have to call and see about fixing that. I wonder where they ship from ordering from them?

@@westtexasgearheadz9007 When i worked at a dealership for these, they came boxed directly from China, so i would assume thats where they come from. At least the engine is a pseudo-chevy...

Looking at one, I believe is a 13 but it needs a fuel pump. Where can I get one? Looked all over and cannot find one.

​@@scottwelch2044you can modify one from the auto parts store.... the pump is probably all you need.... and just about any in-tank fuel pump will fit the mounting.... I don't know what pressure they run at, but I know you'll be able to find what you need....

Are you using the stock front shocks..if so how is the ride quality?..I have stock and literally have to slow down for every hump and bump in the road. Kinda defeats the purpose of being a offroader when I still have onroad issues.. I only had mine for four months and will do a shock upgrade eventually

Bahama Boy running stock shocks . Mine are cranked up to their highest setting due to my tires being to large for this machine . It rides better than a Kawasaki mule. But not by much.

I would start with the kill switch maybe it’s stuck.

What kind of injectors are you running

They are put of a crown Vic . Or a keep Cherokee . Either or should work. I think the Cherokee are a little less flow and better suited for the task

I will do it for sure . I don’t think top speed is effected but the time it takes to get there is much shorter. Even with steel beadlocks and 31” truck tires

Yep only gets better from here. Replace parts with parts from other makes and models that are more reliable and stronger
