I see vinyl but not a cassette… maybe they figure a CD’s no difft than digital? Dunno. “What a joke” is a bit harsh, there are a lot of new or harsher material barriers to producing physical media these days.

@@jjclem8759 First of all it costs a dollar or less to manufacture a CD nowadays and there are plants that will do small runs of 500 or less. Second of all, this kind of music sounds awful on vinyl, with all the pops and clicks. Thirdly, cassette is a horrible format that sounds even worse than vinyl, and for hipsters to bring it back is a joke. And fourthly, Drag City charges way too much for a download. $10.99 for a freaking FLAC download? You can buy new CDs for that much. They expect us to pay the same for a crummy download as for a physical product? It is a freakin' joke. They want all of the profit for digital, without having to bother to pay a buck or so each to have a CD manufactured. Any label that does this vinyl only/download only thing is not getting any more of my money.
