The tire may be keeping the dirt too warm for your plant in there? I read somewhere that a lot of plants can't handle being in them bc they hold too much passive heat...

these expandable hoses, in my opinion, should be used on concrete surfaces where the area is free of debris like weeds thorns, etc. they do not tell you that in commercials.

What's the ratio of poop to water? Is this aged poop?

I was using chicken manure which was composted fully, you definitely want to use composted unless it comes out of the animal in a pellet (like goats, sheep, rabbits, etc). Ratio of poop to water, well, I can't remember exactly what I did but I didn't measure LOL. I would say maybe a 1-10 or 1-5 max?
