Your channel is killing it. Love all your videos. Especially enjoy the breakdown of the steps and explanations about why. I enjoy the organic and melodic genre a lot. And I also know Ableton well enough. I even know some of the tips like delay shifting clap tracks. Yet all your tips are great for a smooth easy workflow and pro level in regards to making your tracks sound so much better. Thanks!

Very, very much inspiring and dense teaching session; will for sure repeat watching and testing, taking some notes; love the parts about randomisations and using field recordings or sfx to fill up gaps; so sweet ... As always: Thx so much for sharing!!

Great vid as always! One question about your kick: why are you having to eq your own kick that you created yourself and sell in your pack. Shouldn’t it be ready to go right out of the box? As a novice, how do I know when this is necessary?
@lotustunesacademy Жыл бұрын
Great question! Every track is individual. It’s good to use Kicks that ideally work straight away but If I have a bass groove that’s as dominant as it is in this video, I tend to make some extra space for it by EQing the kick.
@lotustunesacademy Жыл бұрын
If your kick becomes too „fiddly“, then try switching kicks before applying tons of processing

I could have followed this easier if you had built it from scratch. I love the finished groove but hard to follow because you already have it built out.
