Dear Lydia, i‘m a florist and just wanted to give you the tip to put more water in your vases, fill them up to the top and you will see how your flowers will last way longer :) also make sure to cut your flowers directly before you put them in the water, if the ends of the stem are dry, they will not be able to soak up the water 😘 Just wanted to make sure you know, as I see we share the love for fresh flowers :) sending you kisses from germany!

To protect your new mattress (from potential kitty problems) get a waterproof mattress cover. They now have some that are not plasticky & if a cat accident happens your mattress is safe. =^..^= love from a cat mom!

OMG Carrie’s wedding present is so gorgeous ❤️ I’m loving the By Terry Game Lighter palette too. It’s the only one I’ve been using since I got it. I totally agree about the mascara too. I only ever use waterproof mascara because I get panda eyes otherwise and the By Terry is a game changer. No transfer, easy removal and loooooong lashes. The only thing I’m finding is that it doesn’t hold a curl on me like waterproof does

I bought all very light coloured sofas and chairs to lessen the effects of the sun on them. Dark colour fade will show up more!!

Lydia's skin is literally so flawless that I think she's wearing foundation... then she tells us it's her bare face and I just have to pause the video and take a beat. Stunning home and Lydia and Carrie have done an incredible job on the interior!! Literally don't watch any youtuber as religiously or as focused as I do with Lydia. Her little gym gear dance had me laughing so hard. It's so wonderful how unapologetically confident she is; THIS is quality content. I watch Lydia's videos more than any tv show that's for damn sure!!

Yes, I would say only get such a bed if you want to make it the focal point and have a large space. Personally I think it looks great with the dark background, it is so cozy and interesting. I'm over the all white/marble/silver trend tbh so that's probably why I prefer the dark interior, I feel the same about the office.

Wow, so much space! The house is beautiful. Just one point as you talk about painting the office shelving units white, if you do that, keep in mind the room may look like a bowling alley rather than the division of space it is now. That's probably why they painted them a dark color to begin with. As an interior designer, I owned a window covering business for over 20 years. The curtains and the fabric are absolutely beautiful and quite high end. They would be a fortune to replace. You have such a great palette to work with throughout your home!! ♡

My Balmain Blazer is finally on it's own hanger. ; ) You have always been -A place for everything and everything in it's place, you must now feel complete. This is probably something you have sorted but I got slight anxiety watching this as the sunlight hitting your clothes will fade and damage unless you have blinds / curtains over the windows. We created a walk in wardrobe in our new home and although we had curtains up after 3 weeks this was enough time to fade and ruin a leather jacket, blazer and a couple of irreplaceable dresses. So please ensure your gorgeous clothes are protected :) x

I’m so happy for you and Ali with the new house! Seems like the whole family has found a new sense of calm:) I really hope you don’t paint it white! So more sophisticated in black. How about painting the walls in a really light pink (almost white) and add some nice rugs under sofa and desk for more debth. You can put gold handles on the doors:) That office is amazing! And I really like the teal (green?) curtains in the bedroom. Layering with different lush fabrics and textures pluss a little pop of color works so well for big rooms. But this is me and only suggestions. You do you👊🏼 Oh, and I really want to steal Carrie, she is amazing. Strike that, I can move to the UK and be your second assistant. Just a word of advice though on the marble table, make sure you'll be alright working with your hands/arms against a super cold table all day. Lydia, your house is beautiful! Congratulations. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy watching your videos. Looking back maybe say 10-15 years ago, who would have thought that just by watching someone’s life diary can be so therapeutic. I’m been having anxiety and sleep problems at night with nightmares. I can honestly say that just by watching your video calms my anxiety down and makes me forget about my worries. It seems so silly, right, but it works, better that a therapy. So please continue doing what you do! I hope I won’t be relying on you so much in the future, but yes, I need your videos. You are beautiful!! P.S. don’t take too long with kids. you can affix marble floor tile to the table in your office. It is really simple to do and affordable. You simply just have to measure the number of tiles you need; and will attach them by using a bonding glue. The glue you will use will say "for use" with wood, tile, etc. I've​ done it!

Lydia if you don’t mind a bit of DIY. You can always paint the table and then stick a marble sticky back plastic on top. The sticky back plastic is super durable ! Save you having you buy another table xx
