i recommend some Billy bookcases from IKEA with 2 extra shelves, perfect size for standard volumes, your gonna need the space LOL. space is a manga collectors WORST enemy. you can get white ones ;) stay safe out in that part of the world.

My Collection is usually placed in the order I bought those Series in (although if one Series relates to another I put them side by side) & sometimes when I get bored I do put everything into alphabetical order just for fun & then put everything back into the correct order after that 😆

I mostly go by spine height. It drives me nuts to see a shelf that's like updownupdownupdown etc XD I'm a bit OCD with that sort of thing. So spine height is first, try to keep same author together if spines allow, and then 3rdly try to put things that look nice together. So I have my Death Note Black Editions next to my Fruits Basket Collectors Editions for instance XD Same height, and something about the black spines next to the pastel colours just looks super appealing to me haha.

Definitely a relaxing video. I have to double stack a lot of my manga so picking which series' to show off is always tough. I tend to group hardcovers together as well, also the struggle to fit a few volumes of a series into the last part of a shelf is relatable, on numerous occasions I've used 5 volume series to fill the shelf
