I've shared a few Toronto solo trip vlogs this year that have a ton of reccomendations! It really depends what area of Toronto you're wanting to visit! For coffee: Jimmy's Coffee, Farenheit Coffee, Cafe 23, Fika Coffee For food I love Gusto 101, Sleepy Pete's for breakfast! and my favourite bookstore without a doubt is Type Books!

If you add the books you own to the StoryGraph, you can filter by unread owned, and they also use that info for suggestions. It’s so nice when you don’t know what to read or for reminding you about older books you have yet to read

@@kcriems4813 I have come to realize over the years that I think it's really just genetics😂😅 are use whatever drugstore shampoo conditioner is on sale and I hate to say it, but I don't use heat protectant or anything lol! Clearance random 2 inch curling wand that I got at Marshall's like five years ago!! And my hair does really well without hairspray! So I typically day one with the bigger barrel and then I brush the curls out and they normally last me 2-3 days without any product!!

Just in case no one else has told you/ you don't already know - Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo is a second book in a duology, the first book is Six of Crows. Beautiful library and great video though x

If you’re planning on expanding your collection, maybe invest in one of the barcode scanners. That way you don’t have to reorganize all the time. In the database you can log your completion stats. Plus, you can take to stores and find out if you own it or not.

@mjtomaszewski76 i have one already😊 I honestly just really enjoy re-organizing my books from time to time lol it's really fun and therapeutic for me!! It's not something I feel like I have to do by any means, I just love changing it up (kind of how I like to switch up the layout of our rooms and rearrange furniture)- I think it's just a personality trade of mine that I enjoy switching it up🤣

@@elizabeththompson1525 we have a label maker and I've tried it actually but didn't love the look of it tbh. It made it feel less of a built in home library and more like a bookstore with the labels and they got annoying with filming since I like to use the shelves as my backdrop!

Relating to characters different from you is the whole point of reading books though 😭 Probably if you haven’t been able to relate to older characters it’s because the ones you’ve tried just aren’t very well written

@@emmanarotzky6565 I honestly disagree!! I prefer to read about characters I relate to age wise. I think it comes down to personal preference. I read to be transported to new worlds and take in new plots, have fun with it! I don't think its because they aren't well written but as someone who probably does not want kids I don't enjoy reading about 30 somethings with kids since I can't relate😅😅
