Well that's a great idea! I have some long stickers that I really like to use to seal envelopes. However, they either get crunched up in too short holders, or they swim in things that should hold really big things. This is going to be a perfect system, I can tell. You're amazing, Sherry. Luv this idea, Sherry! I was thinking this would make a birthday card money / gift card envelope. Since the plastic is somewhat see through, the fun paper will be seen through it. They get a homemade card & they can reuse the envelope! ( & think of the gift giver,every time it’s used. ☺️) Thank you for sharing with us 🥰

The seam binding is very pretty but I think it is kind of a hassle to mess with. I think a Velcro dot or snap would be easier. It is an awesome idea though. Thank you for sharing 😊.

If I was gonna use it quite often I think I would change the seam binding with a tab to stick in and out of magnets. What else would you suggest instead of seam binding, btw I love the seam binding, so beautiful. I'm so happy I found you, I can see why you have your own brand. 😁❤️

Lovely project, I will use these envelopes for ‘memory year’ cards / keepsakes, I know that not everyone keeps their birthday/Christmas cards, but I like to do that and the envelopes are ideal, just print the relevant year date on the front. Thank you for sharing this project 💙

These are perfect . You are right, there are so many things you can use these for . My head is rolling with ideas. I was thinking that maybe I could punch holes in the bottom and put them in a ring binder to hold my die cuts, stencils, and other craft items . It’s clever but if you are out and open it,how are you going to be able to close it with out a poker?

I was able to insert the ribbon without my stylus, so having a stylus is not a must have. But if threading it through might be a challenge for you, there are other closure options you can try.

@migdaliavoss4567 I sometimes have trouble with fine motor skills ,such as putting the ribbon back in the tiny hole. While I watched the video I thought, I could roll some clear packing tape at the ends of the ribbon so the ends are compact & thinner than the rest of the ribbon 🎀. Very much like we see with some shoe laces. That will make it much easier to get the envelope closed up, when we’re out n about. I actually do this with all of my wide ribbons , I may have to do something similar with. Have fun!

This project seems like it would be a hassle to get things in and out of the envelope if you use it for scraps. I love the crinkle ribbon, seems like it would work well if the ribbon only went through the top part of the envelope and use some Velcro dots to hold the top envelope down. Any comments on this?
