I love beautiful "Pinterest-worthy" pantries just like everyone else, but I think it's more important to keep your pantry practical and easy to maintain. As a chef, I've encountered many professional kitchen pantries and they're all the same...functional and organized simply, so you can be inspired to cook! You don't need to spend a lot of money gathering the perfect containers and bins to display your pasta. Just use what you have and create a system that makes sense to you. I love that you already were utilizing whatever space you had, even if it meant splitting up your ingredients here and there and everywhere. Love the large mason jars you used because you already had them on hand. And I especially am happy that you are still keeping up with your system almost a year later!

Great ideas in this one! I like that you used what you already had for containers. It can get so expensive to go out and buy new. Luckily, I have a ton of mason jars and I use them for EVERYTHING. You're right- you have to organize it to make it practical and useful not just pinterest worthy! Thanks for all the tips and good luck on your skill share👍👍

Perfect timing. I was thinking of organizing my pantry this weekend and this just motivated me even more. I love how you reused existing items vs buying everything new. This is so much more cost effective and not to mention so much more realistic and relatable. Also, you gave us so many ideas and things to think about when organizing.

Aw yay....I'm so glad you picked that up from the video. I was honestly a little bummed at first that I didn't have all the perfect looking matching containers and bins I needed before shooting this video and then was like...nah...I can just use those containers sitting in my cabinets and pull out my saved kimchi jars. It won't look super cute, but it will be realistic and functional. Glad you thought it was relatable. Good luck organizing your pantry this weekend. You'll feel so refreshed when it's done!

I love a Pinterest perfect pantry. I have a very small pantry too and need things to be very practical. When I recently did my pantry, it definitely wasn’t Pinterest perfect but functional. Enjoyed the ideas for my next clean out!

I'm guilty of not always practicing FIFO too...which is why I buy 2 bags of the same noodles when I already have an open bag. It's just a good reminder to myself as well.

I was just going to start spring cleaning this week and I am glad you made a video about this 'cause my pantry its a complete mess. I've got lots of can goods that won't even fit on my pantry shelf 😅 so I'm really happy I can follow your tips. Good luck with your class. I wish I had the cash to join and take your cooking classes. I need to go upgrade my Dollar Tree bins...I bet there are some awesome ones out there right now. I didn't have time to buy anything new before we filmed this, so recycled kimchi jars and Dollar Tree bins for the win!

@@mpuppybreath Exactly...I'm all about "adapt it to your personal needs." There's never a "one-size fits all"...and that's for most things in life. Sometimes people get too caught up imitating what they see, especially the perfect-looking pantries, and then find that 3 months down the road, it's too hard to keep up with and then they get discouraged when it looks messy again.

Owning that much stuff will stress me out tbh! Like noodle or can food, once I consume almost all of them I only buy a few or it is easy to pile up room and mess me around! Same goes to refrigerator! Sometimes a really full one will drive me nuts since I have everything but I cannot get anything ! So now I am all about simplism! Or minimalism
