How To Pre Plan In Your Planner

You’re genius. I don’t pre plan much because everything is so slow right now because of Covid. I work from home and it’s very slow/ I’m a way it’s a blessing because I can use the extra time to work on my blog and KZbin videos. Don’t think I can get with digital though. I’m just so desensitized to the sounds. I am however very connected to my paper planner. So I will be using the tips on planning in the side bar or inserts and using post its. Such a useful video. I use a small notebook to brain dump and pre-plan. It also works so that I can see my train of thought and track how I’m thinking about specific things❤️ I also date each page for reference ❤️

i use Google Calendar for all of my planning. I can avoid writing/typing things in multiple times/places. If it changes, I have no need to scratch out or use white out; I just move it as needed. I love digital planning. I watch planner videos for ideas about what else I can incorporate to streamline my life and then I just have to figure out how I want to calendarize it. I even journal in Google Calendar. Love your videos. You have given me so many ideas. Thank you!

I put 3-6 months in my planner and add a sticky note to the month the date applies. I am trying to use one planner for work and home so I am hoping to be consistent and content. Thanks for your many ideas!

As usual great video. I have only been using HP for a month and my setup has changed dramatically. Mainly for my own style. Like you I only want the current month in and also found it too much to have all the pages so I'm only using monthly and then wellness inserts. I prefer list and add ins. Totally agree its better to have all in one for organisations sake. Great tips thank you 😊

And then putting everything with reminders into outlook, cause that's what I use for work anyway. Edit: hit send too fast... Hey Alaina, The other day you were saying that you loved your big TUL but were going back to the smaller size and had to use the quilted cover because they didn't have the leather in black. I was in my local OfficeMax today and they had the smaller size in the brown color you showed in your video, but also in the black AND a DEEP PURPLE! Oh girl I was tempted to get the purple but behaved and only got the black leather cover. Just thought you would like to know that the small black leather cover IS available.

Under Your Google Calendar In the list of calendars on the left side of the screen, hover your cursor over the desired calendar > Click the "Options" icon (3 stacked dots) There you can adjust and add colors

I really like using Google too, plus my phone is always with me. I mostly just use it for time scheduled appointments. I like the idea of carrying a notebook. I've picked up a cheap little composition notebook from Wal-Mart and have been using that. It doesn't have a lot of pages and doesn't last long. 😂
