Welcome to the helpful home. I'm Sunday Dawn and I'm a 47 year old grandma living her best Nana life with her husband of 29 years, her married kiddos and those adorable grandbabies Rose, Samuel, and Rick Aaron. You are so proficient at putting these Project Life albums together. I know there's a lot of photo sorting prep ahead of time but it's enjoyable to watch you work on them. You can probably gauge how organized a person is overall by the status of their photo situation.

There is definitely a lot of sorting ahead of time, even when I do the digital project life, but then it's pretty smooth sailing and I get to just enjoy creating my pages 🙌 as you can imagine from my childhood situation, I never had a family photo album... I never had a family 🤷‍♀️ I had "family" I had a grandmother and an aunt but they certainly didn't create family albums of our life together to pour over in the evenings or at holidays with family reminiscing about everything we did that year 🤦‍♀️ usually our years were rough 😅 we were going through a lot during those times with my mother among other things. We enjoyed our life at home and I learned there to bloom where you are planted 😌 we enjoyed our days and made the most of difficult situations but to document it 🤷‍♀️ no thank you. I swore to myself if I was blessed with a family of my own and children that I'd not only give them everything I never had but I'd also give them physical albums to remind them how much they were wanted and prayed for and how blessed we are with in our beautiful life together ❤️ I guess you could say I overachieved the mark 🤣 ocd will do that to ya 🤦‍♀️ but they absolutely love them and they get pulled out and looked through often ❤️

Oh, I honestly wouldn't change any of it for the gift of perspective 🙌 people are always talking about having gratitude or being present and I think it's so funny people have to work at those things 🤣 my siblings were in and out of jail, addicts like my parents, or best case scenario they got the family curse of bipolar disorder and have made multiple suicide attempts (more than one sibling with each of these things) it's pretty easy to be grateful and stay present in each if the miraculous moments of your life because you weren't promised them, just blessed by them 🙌 My story's not sad it's a happy one 🥰 but I appreciate your sweet thoughts of little me 😌 I remember how little she was when I look at Rosie and that's really the only time that that parts hard

Right in time :D Just came back from 2 weeks family vacation and have to declutter/sort 400+ photos (it's a lot? depends on the person xD) plus photos from the whole month of July...

How do you just so happen to have the photos oriented the right way for those sleeves? I’d have to have each sleeve made custom for my photos 😂oh my gosh I don’t know how u make it look so easy. Can you please come and do mine?

The point actually is that I choose the sleeve that best suits the direction of the photos I've chosen for that page 🤷‍♀️it's not coincidence it's that you have options 😉 That's why I chose project life when I redid all my albums and caught up on photos clear back in 2015

I miss taking pictures with a real camera, taking them to the drug store to be developed and then going to pick them up. I miss sending a couple to my grandmother and seeing them in a frame later when we went to visit her. I'm glad our family photos are with my sister where they'll b e safe.

I agree 🙌 I mean i still print a lot of physical pictures but there was something about the smell of a fresh roll of film 🥹 and the commitment of black and white film as opposed to changing your photo to black and white in post 😅 my kids will never understand 🤷‍♀️

This was a make a wish trip Madeline got after her big kidney surgery in 2015. Were big disneyland geeks but it was our first time in disneyworld and when we got home I filled an entire scrapbook with just the magic kingdom and universal 🤦‍♀️ I thought I was gonna have to redo it to squeeze in epcot but I didn't want two albums for one trip. So you can guess how that went 🤣 I obviously continued to work forward in my annual family albums but this one became one of those blocks that I let collect dust til I decided to have a midlife crisis and start a homemaking youtube channel 😅🤣🥰
