I LOVE her response about trusting her children to come to her if there was something troubling in the books. Bless her for not micromanaging, and trusting her children to be discerning. Love this series on home libraries. ❤️

The comments about the grandchildren are spot on. We became grandparents a lot earlier than expected and the fact that we had all those beautiful picture books was a special gift. Our daughter could read her own old favourites to her daughter and so could we. Book treasures never wear out in value. The app sounds really intriguing. Thank you from country Australia.

5,000 though it's not the number, but developing the love of learning in your children. I use a digital library catalog as well. My tip would be know what you have and where it is. We use our home library to engender curiosity, humility, and reference. Old books are great for detail and alternative viewpoints.

It looks like the app mentioned is only for Apple, does anyone know of an Android version?
@SimplyCharlotteMason2 жыл бұрын
We're not familiar with all the options out there; Karen likes the apps she suggested. Goodreads and LibraryThing are two online apps that might do something similar and work across any device.
