For the closet, get tiny hangers and put up all the clothes from newborn to the highest size. And then get a cute dresser and put her bows and bibs and stuff in the dresser. But put the dresser out in the room.

A car seat and stroller for each vehicle is nice so you don't have to transfer them between cars! For outfits, I don't recommend getting a lot of newborn clothes! They grow out of them so quickly unless she's tiny when she's born. Start off with a bunch of 0-3 month clothes. I would count on at least 4-5 outfits a day. Babies spit up a lot and have poop blow outs. 😂

Car seats are super heavy and switching them and making sure they are totally secure every time you get in a car is time consuming when you are an on the go exhausted new mama. Keep both car seats. Also I kept all my little ones clothes hung. It’s easier to see them. Then I used a dresser/changing table. In the top drawer I put all of the diaper and wipes and creams medicines etc. and in a separate drawer I kept accessories and shoes and socks.

Yes newborn's change ALOT during the first couple months. I had the cute outfits stacked and alot of them went unused. Both my kids used the classic onsies with comfy pants or the pj style onsies with feet and buttons or zips and they went through 2-10 outfits a day but laundry is way better than buying too many clothes because they grow SOOO fast. One thing you can't have enough of is muslin blankets or that type of blanket to swaddle newborns the first month or so and they are usable in every way possible after your baby grows out of swaddling. Also hats are mandatory for all newborns to regulate their temperature but I would invest in some that aren't knitted so heavy just so they stay on her head better. Wishing you both the best!

If your mom doesn't already have any of this from when you and your siblings were younger it might be nice to have an extra set at her house! I know when my nephew's came to visit my parents all the time it was always a struggle of taking out the car seat or trying to get the stroller, and eventually my parents did purchase an extra set to make life easier lol 😊

Hang up everything smallest to largest size while color coding (will make a big difference) and then a small dresser for hats, swimsuits, bows, etc. Have a changing table in the main part of the room that has cabinets for wipes, diapers, etc. Make the wall paint colorful. It will increase her ability to learn quicker and attract happy moods! Love y’all!

Nuna 100% nuna uses no chemical flame retardants. Also the Nuna Demi Grow can convert into a double stroller 💕 the Nuna pipa lite lx is the lightest infant car seat on the market. I sorted my baby’s bigger clothing into clear plastic drawers and put labels on them. I hang the baby clothing that actually fits her in the closet.

Mine started sleeping through the night at 9 weeks a major blessing! He refused to sleep in his bassinet and preferred to sleep in the dockatot(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) so he was out of my room fairly quickly. We were doing day naps in his crib in his room after 4 weeks so he was familiar with it and the transition was soo easy. With that being said EVERYONE is going to tell you what worked for them and make you feel like you should do what they did. Do YOU girlfrannnn. Hearing other people’s stories are nice though because you can take bits and pieces of others experiences and make you own out of them :) congrats on becoming parents

My baby has reflux so he spits up constantly. My best recommendation so they don’t go through a ton of outfits each day is to get some bandana bibs. My cousin recommended them to us and they’ve been a life saver!! Also maybe keep one car seat and stroller but get two car seat bases. One for each car. That’s what me and my husband did

Didn’t use either of those brands, but a carseat in each car is a MUST! One stroller is do-able, but we have 2 just for ease, the one that came with the carseat we use for if we’re going for walks, or going to be out and using it for a longer period of time. We then have a Summer infant 3D for day-to-day use it’s like a hybrid umbrella stroller and it folds up pretty small to take to the grocery store etc.

For my little one, I hang up coats, jackets and things like that. Then I got a dresser that has 3 drawers and put her pajamas and socks in one drawer, then onesies and pants, and random stuff on the bottom. Then on top of her dresser I have her changing pad. That way when I change her, her clothes are right there and I don’t have to worry about searching around for outfits. Hope this helps! Congrats you guys! You’re going to be fantastic parents 💕

Baby sizes vary at every store! A lot of stores have a chart online that also has height and weight which helps tremendously. My daughter was 7 lbs 5 oz and in newborn size clothing for almost 3 months. As for hanging things, I hung what I would hang for myself. Jackets, nice sweaters, dresses, sweatshirts. All the nice stuff I didn’t want to wrinkle. I put bibs, burp clothes, wash clothes, socks, onesies, pants and jammies in drawers! I even had an extra drawer that I stored extra diapers and wipes in. Very helpful. Try and find a dresser with a changing table on top. I got mine from pottery barn kids along with a crib that will transition into a toddler bed!!
@Emily-om4nw5 жыл бұрын
Also i didn’t show at all until about 21-23 weeks pregnant so your belly is totally normal especially since you are pretty small to begin with! As for the stairs, even if your baby sleeps in her room from day 1 (which my daughter did, wasn’t my plan!) it won’t kill you. You’ll make it work haha I slept on my daughters bedroom floor for like 3 nights because she wouldn’t sleep in the bassinet and I was nervous to leave her. It’ll all work out even if it’s not exactly how you plan
@cynthialaplante37085 жыл бұрын
You will never have enough cloths !! My first niece had a very frequent health problem that basicly made her spit up every 30 min !! She went through like 10 outfits a day because we really wanted her to be clean! Her second baby was "normal" and went through like 2 to 4 outfits a day so that really goes to show that it is impossible to! I say better be safe then sorry !! Can't wait to see little baby girl 👶🏼 love from Québec, Canada ! ❤

I recommend keeping one car seat but buying a second base so each car can have a different base!! And go with the lightest car seat! Babies get heavy and I’m already struggling carrying my 3 month old in her car seat! I wish I went with the nuna pipa light lx! Hang her clothes otherwise you’ll forget what you have and she’ll never wear it! Get a dresser and put onesies, swaddles, blankets etc in there

Definitely keep both travel systems for each car! My mom has forgotten to get the stroller out of my dads car a couple times which sucks. And the outfits depending on the baby they could stay in one outfit all day like my little brother did but my little sister she would poop like CRAZY and would need multiple outfits a day and sometimes they also spit up so there’s another outfit. It just really depends on the baby

My daughter is 4 months old. I organized her clothes from smallest to largest and even got hanging size dividers. I put all her newborn and 0-3 in her dresser before she was born clean and ready. I keep her sleepers and everyday onesies and pants in here dresser/changing table so they are right their when changing her along with socks and such. I only keep hanging her dresses coats and stuff that can’t fold and the sizes she’s not up too yet. I agree h&m and old navy run very large! I would say organize the clothes by size and hang them with dividers saying the sizes! You could easily get those rode extenders so had extra rods below your original one. Then you could have 2 or 3 rods for hanging on one side and then do a dresser on the other for basic pjs, socks, mittens, bibs, swaddles, blankets, etc.

I use plastic drawers and it works really well. That way there are enough drawers to be able to have one for short sleeve, long sleeve, pants, etc... and since its in the closet it doesnt matter if its cute! Also quiet to open/close and hanging would take way longer than tossing in a drawer!

But now that he is 4 soon to be 5 I hang all of his long sleeve shirts and dressy type shirts and jackets, I have a 6 drawer dresser for him and split the rest of his clothes up(shorts, jammies, shirts, pants, underwear/socks, and misc.) All my daughters clothes such as Dresses, shirts, t shirts, rompers are all hung up for easier access and being able to see them all clearly. Pyjamas, shorts, skirts, pants, singlets, hats, socks are all in drawers underneath the hanging clothes. I find this way so much easier to keep organised with all the craziness of a newborn. I also sort all her clothes by size as they are hung up. She’s now 18 months old and it’s much easier to keep track of all her clothes as she’s basically 1 size now.
