There is one thing that has been haunting me since I have officially moved back home. But you have given me the swift kick in the ass to get a giant suitcase and a carry-one’s load of clothes back into my closet. I thank you.

Finally a video from someone with *actually* small kitchen. My kitchen is 3,5 sq meters (around 37 sq feet), but every video on the internet about organising kitchen space is about these really huge kitchens with lots of space and cabinets

What a great video!! when you said that you called it A project. it made me think about yesterday when I spent half a day, sorting out my small kitchen and trying to get it organised now I can say that it wasn’t a chore. It was a project, but I did. One thing that I did difference to kind of save on money was that I looked around my house just to see if I had any baskets or even cardboard boxes that I could use to help organise my kitchen rather than going out and buying a whole heap of stuff because I’ve done that before and ended up not using but well done for finding products that you were going to be able to use in your kitchen.

I can honestly say I feel your pain. My kitchen is more accessible in regards to organization, but it’s not much bigger. Add to that, the same thing-deep narrow cabinets and lots of weird pipes that limit your ability to use those drawer organizers. Oh, the swearing :D I love how you paced yourself. That’s so important when things aren’t going right, you need to take a break and reevaluate. I can say, my fridge organization improved when I saw a video on how to keep things together that you use together-such as having a bin for salad items-the produce and salad dressings. Same for lunch meats and mustard. The idea is that way, you can remove the bin and make what you need without having to rifle through the fridge. This was a HUGE help and made fridge organization more practical for me. Also, many videos state to use bins so that if produce leaks, you don’t have to wash out your whole fridge. Just the bin. Made great sense…except I got bins with open weave so oopsie. ;) This was so wonderful to watch and gave me loads of ideas! I am actually wanting to get a rolling cart for my kitchen and get rid of the table and chairs I never use.

Love your Little kitchen, it’s small but cozy, and you reorganized it pretty well. I also appreciate that you actually have food in your kitchen, I feel like when people do kitchen tours and they open up their pantries and refrigerators, and all that’s there is oatmeal and water. It’s nice to see you actually have some sustenance, and go to the grocery store to buy more than water. Anyway once again great video!

You can also buy those over the door shoe hanger things in any size and just trim them! I used to do that in college to fit small spaces and it always worked great and didn’t look weird.
@NoeliaCardarelli2 жыл бұрын
To me it makes more sense for the space to have your bowls, plates, glasses and mugs in the cabinet above the microwave since it's closer to the dishwasher. The Tupperware and containers can be on the other cabinet, closer to the fridge. Also the things you reach for more often (like oils and spices) should be on lower shelves and the other stuff you use every now and then should be on the top. I also have a very tiny small kitchen. I hope that helps you

Hi I think I'm obsessed with organization and it's something that makes me feel better, so let's say that this video was like an ASMR/relaxing video for me and I loved it. For the fridge I usually don't trust containers cause it seems to me that they take more space that not using them and most of the times things don't fit in the containers (and I feel like I'm dying inside). Anyway great video (it really put me in a good mood), love your vibes

Great job!! I particularly appreciated the tips at the end. One suggestion I have is to put tupperware/other storage containers in a bin/drawer of some sort. I find that it's so hard to keep it from "flowing everywhere" if it's not corralled within a bin or something. That way, even when you're in a rush, you can just toss it in the bin/drawer, close it, and organize later when needed.
@HannahElise2 жыл бұрын
I have been thinking about that honestly. the set that I have is specifically designed to like pop together so they can all be stored easily within eachother, but a bin isn't a bad idea

Can I make a couple of suggestions regarding your laundry supplies, to give you more room? Ditch the fabric softener sheets. For so many reasons. I just throw in a clean dry bath towel, kept on top of the dryer for that purpose, with each load. Replace that big heavy plastic bottle of liquid detergent with laundry sheets (I use Earth Breeze, but there are many choices available now). They take up no room, there’s no risk of making a mess, and they work! By the way, since you have a dw, Earth Breeze makes Power Pebbles, which work great (lasagna mess left on plates overnight came completely off!😊).
