I enjoy watching organizing videos. I get some really good ideas that way. Love the Smurf cup! The Last Unicorn! I didn't even think anyone else had that movie. I'd be standing there a while trying to decide which one to watch. It would be more like a three movie night. To be able to walk up and see all the movies neatly and in alphabetical order would be amazing! I long for that kind of organization! Limited space and small hands prevent me from doing that. So, I enjoy watching other people make it happen.

Talk about a flashback to the 80's to 1997 when VHS was king of physical media. And I remember buying VHS movies from 1988 until around September 1997 when I started buying dvds. But I will say this about VHS era it was so cool walking into either a video store rental witch had over thousands different titles to pick from. Or a video store wear they sold VHS movies & there was so aisles to walk down & thousands of VHS titles to pick from to buy. And people now have no clue how cool it was to go to either a video rental store or a video store to get your favorite vhs movies

Great video! I love seeing people reorganizing their VHS collections, because it shows how it's growing throughout the year without having to wait for an updated collection tour at the end of the year, or the beginning of the year, or however people decide to do it. The Fellowship of the Ring came out in December 2001, and was released on VHS and DVD in August 2002, with the extended cut coming out on VHS and DVD in November 2002. So VHS hadn't started being phased out quite yet. In fact, I think most video rental stores had just started renting DVDs alongside the VHS releases.

@@tgif1345 thanks! I’m glad I’m not the only one who enjoys this kind of stuff. Thanks for the background info on LOTR. That does sound about right…and it’s over 20 years ago at this point, wild.

@tgif1345 25 күн бұрын
@@TheCassettePhase No problem. And yeah, it's wild that the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy is over 20 years old at this point. What's even crazier is that movies that we more closely associate with DVD, also came out on VHS. Like the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Batman Begins.

Cool video, Perry! I personally love these kinds of videos. I just picked up 15 new vhs tapes for a dime each today :) Stand by Me is one of my all-time favorite movies. I'm hoping the book/movie review is Christine. That's my favorite King book/movie combo.

ive got some vhs now over the last year or so of finding sealed ones, maybe 10 or so sealed and 6 or 7 just old cool ones but I have no space for them with my games taking up most of the space.I love your collection but for me personally i like to watch the older movies in the highest def I can, just a personal preference. And my organizing ocd will not allow me to put jurassic park the lost world not with the others. Same with the indiana jones movies, they HAVE to be together for me lol
