@Darcyfied is there some portion missing from episode 3 because we don't see Darcy propose to Lizzy or is it not in this version of Pride and Prejudice?!! Also , I wished episode 3, 4 and 5 were in eng subtitle it would be easier to understand than the Itlalian language! Hoping you will respond

There are chunks missing from episode 3 and possibly episode 1, usually believed to be accidental damage to the masters, though I vaguely remember reading gossip years ago about a tv exec sabotaging the masters after Virna Lisi rebuffed his advances. This seems like the oldest version. Even 1940 version seems newer than this

The actual recording is in poor condition compared to the film print of 1940. This is the oldest surviving tv miniseries of P&P so the technology and production values are going to be more primitive than that of any film of comparable or even older vintage.

Hol a fenébe van párbaj a regényben??? Mrs Bennet ugyan párbajról vizionál,amikor Lídia megszökik, de ilyesmiről szó sincs. A rendezőnek talán más témát kellett volna keresgélnie ha önálló ötlete nem volt, nem ennek a regénynek az adaptációjába belekényszeríteni oda nem való történet részeket. Pancser rendezés....

The Italians got everything wrong...the jewelry on the ladies is wrong (completely!), the hairstyles are wrong, the dancing (one couple were actually body pressed!) is wrong...way of speaking, everything.
