My favorite italian woman writer and journalist, none current "journalist" comes close to her, her intellectual honesty, her courage, her commitment to keep objective.

Oriana era nobile, stimolante, era un genio e era una rivoluzionaria. Resta in pace Signora Fallaci.

What a heroine. Fearless. First book - then cancer. She did not fear death but loved life.

her English is actually very good and her accent is super cool! When at 6:05 she goes "don't let me say things I may regret later" she sounds like Marlene Dietrich ;)

Oriana Fallaci's published interview with Ayatollah Khomeini is worth reading: A small masterpiece. They say Oriana wished to interview Margaret Thatcher and was refused a meeting. I can well believe it.

What would Oriana Fallaci say about our times if she lived? We miss her curageous, independent voice so much.

She would be dead or she would be making investigative reporting in a KZbin channel. She would hate the media and its monopoly, the monopoly of the truth control by big corps, big media control by the Bilderberg group and other big shots.

In my opinion she is without the best interviewer ever. The conversation she created with world leader such as Deng Xiao Ping was simply unbelievable for its depth and introspective giving you a true insight into how such a world leader shaped consequential events.

She has interviewed Mujib, Bhutto and Gandhi (Indira) in the 70s, so she not only knows Bangladesh, but also saw its inception.

Rose’s penchant for constant interruption ruined countless interviews. The Robin Williams interview is classic: he steps all over Robin’s riffs. Had to stop watching. Here’s another example. Don’t know why the producers allowed this. He should have just sat back and allowed these brilliant people to express themselves in a flow of ideas.

I appreciate the back and forth banter. She calls him on it, near the beginning, saying: well it’s your show.
@robertgiles91242 жыл бұрын
Does he have to keep interupting her? Rose always does this. "cept not now...LOL.
