You can, it's an option but personally I prefer going aery scorch in those type of matchups.

in my emerald games i feel like the mids i face just try to shove waves and shove waves. Do you think its more beneficial to let them do this and attempt to hold the wave near my turret assuming i have a ganking jg or match the push to deny roams. Both are decent I feel like and facing a good pushing mid like vik or syndra is rough sometimes because i cant harrass with autos or if i let the wave push im slower to rotate. Maybe its a skill issue where i should shove back and look to bully ie. get better at dodging and punishing cooldowns. but like i said earlier if im trying to focus on poke when they shove the wave im giving up my lane prio. thoughts?

Your intentions with the wave completely depend on the current gamestate and constantly changes. Asking me that question is like asking me 'how to win a league of legends game?', it depends on the context. Issues like this can only be solved by coaching (link in the description) or by watching good players consistently making choises like this by watching their stream for example.

This is a really great guide, thank you so much! Any tips on laning against Zoe? Somehow I really struggle against this champ as I feel like if i even get hit once by her e I lose 3/4 of my health.

The zoe matchup is decent I would say. You can rush boots perhaps even mercs and that can help you a lot! Also standing behind the minions is important of course. It's easier to avoid getting hit by her E then for Zoe to hit it. Baiting it out can also help a lot, act like you're not thinking about her E and then when she uses it you react because you were paying attention to it :)

Can I ask why first strike is not used on her? its the rune Im using on every game and Im having better results than with Aery. Thanks in advance

Orianna is great at doing consistent damage (especially during the lane phase) which makes aery scorch extremely good on her. First strike on the other hand is all about burst which orianna isn't that good at, at least during the laning phase. Basically aery scorch is sooo good that it renders almost every other rune page except phase rush relatively suboptimal. I would only consider first strike in a slow paced game where scaling is key but even then I would go with phase rush in the majority of my games. First strike can be decent in slow paced games and also vs melees, but vs melees I would still go with aery scorch because once again, you gain so much value from it :) (sidenote: I also like to go phase rush in melee matchups who can easily get on me and stay on me like sylas for example). So I currently don't see a lot of reason to go first strike Orianna. However I also think that runes and builds don't matter that much and that playstyle is a lot more important than everything else so feel free to go first strike if you have fun with it! First strike will never be holding you back from climbing :) Conclusion: If you have fun with first strike, go it :)!

would flash ghost be good so you dont have to take phase rush

You can definitely go ghost flash but it's quite niche imo. Teleport imo is just so good in lane and during midgame that I wouldn't really substitute it. I only go ghost flash when it would be impossible to play skirmishes or teamfights without it (when enemies have a lot of mobility, or a lot of champs that can easily get on me). I would say I go teleport flash in 70% of my games, heal flash in 15%, cleanse flash in 10% and ghost flash in 5%.

There was an ori one-trick challenger that did this exclusively last split for the most part. Their main reason for it was how much it helps side-laning and is quite effective. Teleport is a lot easier to get away with though

Why is shieldbash/font of life not mentioned? Since her E is a big shield and her W procs FOL Is it not worth it?

When talking about the resolve tree I just mention that you can basically go whatever combo you want, basically every rune is viable in the resolve tree :). However personally, I don't go font of life.
