You didn't talk about the movement. It's an automatic correct ?

I think I did. Yes it’s an auto.

Dumb question, how does the world clock part work. I’m in Saudi Arabia, where do I set the dial to observe other time zones? Or is that not how it works?

I answered this question in one of the threads on this video. Check it out.

So does the 24hr bezel rotate as well? Or is it static? If it's static, I don't quite understand how it shows another time zone in 24hr if the main indexes are 12hr.
@AndyinSG2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the inner bezel is rotated by the extra crown on the watch. But I think without a GMT hand, it's pretty much meaningless.

@@AndyinSG Say I want to keep track of the time in Tokyo. Do I have to adjust it every time I want to know the time there? Or can I just set it and leave it?
@AndyinSG2 жыл бұрын
@@sandman6088 I guess for this model, you align the 12 on the bezel to the time difference, and then use it as a visual reference. Experts out there please chime in too.
@sandman60882 жыл бұрын
@@AndyinSG that's what I assumed at first, but, using your example, once it's GMT+9 for you the bezel would be showing GMT+11 for Tokyo. So it doesn't really make sense unless A) the bezel automatically rotates with the rest of the watch or B) I'd have to do the math and manually adjust it every single time I need to check. If it's the latter, my god what a terribly useless feature. Lol

@@sandman6088 Actually you're right! My method wouldn't make sense at all. Let's see if any experts can chime in on this issue.

Probably I haven't put enough attention - but is it a 12- or 24-hr mechanism? )) I mean - the hour hand makes the full turn around the dial in 12 or 24 hours? Because the besel is marked for 24 hours, but none of the reviews and even the official manual states clearly is it a real 24-hours mechanism like an old Glycine Airman, Fortis 24h or Russian Vostok Antarctic, or just a regular 12-hour drive with 24-hour bezel added just like a marketing guys fun? )))

This is definitely a normal 12 o’clock watch.

@@AndyinSG then it was a really weird idea - given that there's no normal markings on the dial... Thanks a lot!

This watch is simply amazing, a mess , odd but I love it! Despite it's drawbacks like bracelet , legibility etc! And here US$600! I still want to buy it!

Agreed. It’s a mess but rather unique.

Legibility is not good for that variation. But still, it is the best looking of all four in my opinion.

It’s somewhat special. Watch collectors want something different from the usual black or blue dials.

Actually a 24hr bezel on a regular movement without GMT hand is quite useless. I guess what it does is that it gives a direct visual idea of the second time zone without mental calculations. Example, if your home time is Tokyo (GMT+9) and your second time zone is London (GMT), you set the bezel 9 hours backwards. So everytime you look at your watch, the hour hand shows local time, and the bezel will indicate second time zone at one glance. Pretty much useless I think, but it does offer that quick glance for second time zone.
