Saw this, and learned how to fold the book, many years ago. Actually folded a book case, and then fourteen books to go with it. Looked really cool. Relocated it again today, because I wanted to fold a couple of books - but it was so long ago I had forgotten a fair few steps. I can't understand people who say that this is a bad tutorial - believe me, there are a LOT worse out there. Also; "This is impossible to fold!". No, it's not, you are literally watching someone fold it, how could it be impossible! Good on you, Mark Roberts! This is quite an adequate tutorial, for an awesome origami model.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this project. The Pause and Rewind button are my friends, they helped me see the more challenging folds. Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate this fold.

Wow what a lovely idea for gifts!! I went to Vietnam in February and I've been so far away from a special man for around 2 months. He loves books a lot. This will be perfect to send to Europe to tell him some little thing on my mind. Will be interesting and save a lot of posting fee. :")

the fold at 1:17 should be a third of the way to the centre line. The other two diagonal folds immediately afterwards should form an arrow shape, and the tip of this should touch the fold you made in 1:17. It should then form something like a 'k' shape, if you get what I mean. If you do the diagonal folds so that they are not meeting the fold at 1:17 or go beyond this fold, it will be very hard to move on to the next stage. I hope that this helps. Good luck!
