evana fatema mim If you used 6 x 6 inches to start the book with, use 6.8 x 6.8 inches and 6.8 x 13.6 inches. :)

Hi there PaperKawaii! ^_^. I would just like to ask. The Outer Box portion of my bookshelf has a problem.. Your measurement was 34 cm × 17 cm right? My paper wasn't big enough for your measurement. So then I adjusted it to 28 cm × 11 cm. ( 11 cm because I just subtracted 28 to 6 because 34 minus 28 is 6) I'm not very good in math by the way. Anyway, I'm not really sure if it's gonna be 11 cm because my bookshelf didn't look as good. So the question is, am I gonna change your measurement ( 17 cm ) to 11 cm or I'll just make it 17?

Hi I think it should be 28 x 14 and use 14 x 14 for the inside... Then the book would need to be made from 12 x 12, I think that's right but I'm not that good with maths either! 😂⭐️

If you used 21 x 14.8cm I think you will need.. 23 x 23cm and 46 x 23 cm however.. the bookcase will be 'deeper' than the books, as this is for square books.. :)

+Ienal Katherine haha ok, well A4 is 21 x 29.7 cm. So you can get 14.85 x 29.7 - for the inner shelf. 14.85 x 14.85 for the outer box. I hope that works! The book would need to be made from 12 x 12 cm :)

Zien Chan You need two pieces of paper, one is 17cm x 17cm square, the other is 34cm x 17cm. I started with A2 Paper and cut to size ☺ Hope that helps..

You can use A4 paper, it will be a thinner book, or thicker, there are many ways to attach the pages to the spine. You can make individual pages if you wanted.

You can use any paper you like! Sturdy paper works best. The dimensions given are to fit the books I previously made :)

ShortMasterGames YT A2 is a paper with more of a sturdy type paper. You can use hard paper like specialty paper and so on.

Alpesh Patel If you only have printer paper you can do it but your bookshelf will be smaller. You could cut it to 12 x 24 cm and the other sheet would be 12 x 12 cm. You can get longer paper at craft shops, it's called A3 paper, usually comes in pads. You can try the following measurements: outer box: 29.7 x 14.85 and inner box: 14.85 x 14.85, books to be made with 13 x 13 cm .. hope that helps

or if your in the US and have letter paper, outer box: 28 x 14 cm inner: 14 x 14 cm, books: 12 x 12 cm. Basically - take your rectangular paper, say it's 28 by 21.5 cm. Divide the longest edge by 2 (14). Now the paper needs to be 28 x 14 and the inner needs to be 14 x 14 cm. The book has to be made with paper thats a couple cm smaller so it fits.

Fabiha Jannat You can make it for any size book, just add 2 or so cm to the size you started with for the book and the outer box is double. So for a book made from 20cm square paper it would be 22cm x 22cm and 22cm x 44cm. :) Hope that helps!
