Thank you so much for introducing me to art journaling and encouraging me not to be fearful or worry. I have really enjoyed making these wee envelopes and my 12yo granddaughter is truly intrigued. I plan to write my "messages to me" directly on the square paper and then fold the envelope. This is similar to the way the Japanese used to send missives to each other in eras gone by. I lived there briefly, so long ago Emperor Hirohito was still on the throne! You have a wonderfully encouraging online presence and make a super teacher 💌😊

As an occupational social worker for the South African Police I often found that art therapy but especially journalling help police men and women work through the emotional aspects caused by traumatic work related experiences. Most of your journalling proposals and techniques I could adjusted for therapeutic sessions using "art" as an expressive method to unload without exposing themselves too much. Most of the time they left these sessions "lighter" and relieved. Keep up with your inspirational work. You are an exceptional artist and person. Thank you so much.

I always love your unboxing of the London Gifties goodies... I always think, "It must be wonderful to be Helen, to receive such lovingly packaged and beautiful items with some treats in there as well!" Before Christmas I decided to use some of my left-over birthday money and I made an order and lo and behold, when the box arrived, Christine had slipped in some tea bags, sweets and a lovely note! I felt so special! I love the goodies and I feel like I honestly sent myself a gift! I loved everything about this video! Hi Helen. It was lovely to see you in this video. You are braver than I for getting in front of the camera. I followed along with your origami envelope as I was given an origami book and paper pad for Christmas. That was so easy and very cute😁. I absolutely love the blue spread and your use of the watercolour effect. I think I am now in a place to start journaling again after not doing it for a few months, and also, receiving some wonderful happy mail from a special person has helped my frame of mind.
