The things that slowed me down and confused me were the times when he would shift it off screen a little and fold some, then bring it back and when his hands blocked the entire way. I guessed a bit here and there, but ultimately I made a cute little elephant. Mine is tiny, of course, because I used a regular sheet of paper folded into six little square sheets.

i really can''t follow this tutorial....i guess it's partly because you zoomed in too much...i can't locate which part you are working on. also this video doesn't have detailed diagrams and captions....could you please redo this one? i searched all videos and only you did this type of elephant....the original diagram by li jun is even harder to follow....please.....thanks.

Nice! I tried it with 24 x 24 cm thick 140 gramms carton. The folds have been a bit hard to make in case of the thickness but in the end a nice elephant was made, stabil and puffy. I my opinion a good shown video, but definitely not for beginners

It would be really helpful if you could fold on camera so people know what on earth is going on seeing as it is such an intricate design and you can easily get lost if you can't see what is going on.

Congratulations, jonakashima now know's he's got a fan, but let's talk about the real deal: just PLEASE zoom out every few folds here and there, because the main reason people like me get lost is because you're folding it too close to the camera and we can't see what's going on with the whole paper, that's all

i tried with a smaller sheet (about 15x15) and with lighter paper. at the end the head tended to droop away from the body which i fixed by pinching inwards the inside fold where it connects to the body. thank you this is very cute =)

Basically you know the crease that you made I the step before the sink fold? Well you are opening up the model and reversing the direction of these creases. That means you hate to turn the mountain folds into valley folds and valley folds into mountain folds. As for the new crease you have to follow, at the top of the crease you made before the sink fold after you open up the model there will be a small polygon shape made. Make a new crease (a mountain fold)

The camera is way too close to the fingers and the model so it is very difficult to see what he is doing, his fingers are in the way all the time and a spoken explanation would also be helpful. Otherwise I managed to make it and with a little bit of practice I bet my elephants will look as good as his! =)
