With all due respect, I find Origami infuriating because I cannot, for the life of me, actually fold correctly. I'm always a little off and it makes it a little too different than how it should be so then I unfold it but the creases are already there so I have to get another sheet of paper and mess up again, then get another sheet of paper and then another and another until I either give up or ruin an entire forest.

Make sure that what you start with is actually a square by folding the diagonals. If both the corners get folded in half and the 2 others touch you should be good. It's very difficult to fold anything if your starting point is even a little off -someone who has folded origami for 5 years
