Sanskrit is a standardized dialect of Old Indo-Aryan, having originated in the 2nd millennium BCE as Vedic Sanskrit and tracing its linguistic ancestry back to Proto-Indo-Iranian and Proto-Indo-European. As the oldest Indo-European language for which substantial written documentation exists, Sanskrit holds a prominent position in Indo-European studies. The body of Sanskrit literature encompasses a rich tradition of poetry and drama as well as scientific, technical, philosophical, and religious texts. The compositions of Sanskrit were orally transmitted for much of its early history by methods of memorization of exceptional complexity, rigor and fidelity.] Thereafter, variants and derivatives of the Brahmi script came to be used.
Sanskrit is normally written in the Devanagari script, but other scripts continue to be used. It continues to be widely used as a ceremonial language in Hindu religious rituals and Buddhist practice in the form of hymns and chants.
Langma School of Languages is offering certificate courses in the Sanskrit language. Our trainer can connect with you for online Sanskrit classes.

Tamil is only one oldest classical Dravidian language surviving in the old. Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada derived from Tamil (Dravidian language)
@007Sanoop
@007Sanoop 4 жыл бұрын
Tamil, Sanskrit, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Odia are classical languages of India. Hindi is younger language which uses Devanagari script and it was derived from Sanskrit and Hindustani languages. Ancient times only one classical language of India gone further to West mainly through Takshasila to influence the European languages, that was Sanskrit. That's why Sanskrit is a parent of European languages. Agastya who wrote Tamil grammar was also wrote hymns in Rig-Veda in Sanskrit. So Indian classical languages are older than European (Ancient indigenous European languages may be existed in Europe). I don't know why Europeans broadly saying Indo-European family and are looking common ancestor, which is impossible. I don't know why they divided Dravidian and Indo-Aryan based on some similar words. Please understand that the brahmi scripts was excavated from both Keezhadi and Harappa. And also the chariot and horse skeletons from Sinauli. I think there is no category Aryan or Dravidian, all are derived from Tamil and Sanskrit. At the infant time of Indian Classical Languages, Sanskrit had no connection with European languages, instead today's so called Dravidian and Indo-Aryan families had much more connections. Sanskrit was a Language Invention in Ancient India by Ancient Maharishis. At that time there was also Ancient Tamil as local language. Before Sanskrit it was just only dialects of Ancient Tamil. At that time India/World was not populated like today. Those dialects from South to North of India and using Ancient Tamil, the Sanskrit was developed as a refined, upgraded and a very standard language.. A brilliant invention.. Still Indians can that feels that brilliance if they recite the consonants in order, they can feel it from the throat to lips in a precise order. And still you can expand the Tamil consonants to form the Sanskrit consonants. Then Sanskrit was mainly evolved in Northern India before Persian/Greek invasions. Later Brahmi scripts formed and found from Harappa to Keezhadi. Sanskrit again combined with Ancient Tamil southern dialects to form Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, etc. But Ancient Tamil was survived with some changes to form Modern Tamil. At the same time Devanagari, Grantha, Kadampa, etc were formed from Brahmi. While forming Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, etc, as part of linguistic development the Sanskrit also spread to further west to influence Iranian and European languages.

Believe it or not, Sanskrit is the only language much suitable for Speech Recognition and Artificial Intelligence in Computer field. The reason is very simple. It's alphabets (Mainly Devnagari Scripts) is phonetic scripts and you write what you speak. There is no need for pronunciation for words. Sanskrit is well known for its rigid,structured and highly developed grammar. It is almost like it can be represented by mathematical logic. The main reason why Sanskrit is good for Artificial Intelligence is that in any sentence in Sanskrit language, every words used contains hidden intelligence. For simple example - Aham Griham Gachhami ( I home go - I go home ). Aham represent not only "I" but also gives its activity as a subject. Griham "home" represent as object with something happening on and finally Gachhami "go" always means "I'''s activity or it is only associated with "I". The sentence does not need to interpolate but only gives the clear meaning also unique words associated with "I go home". This is the reason why Sanskrit is suitable for speech recognition and Artificial Intelligence in Computer field.

Sanskrit is very similar to the old Slavic language. Similar or almost the same words, but also grammar, language complexity, diminishing, etc. Phonetic reading, rich vocabulary, the possibility of creating new words, etc. Slavic script does not come from Greek, it had its original old self-written, much older, but Western scientists are silent about it, because they do not want to recognize that the Slavs had their culture long before the West.

Sanskrit started as purely wovel sounds for meditation by the saptrishis. It was strictly oral for a long while, with some dialectic variations, growing to an oral proto-language as the Vedic culture grew. It has 16 vowels and 36 matrikas in its repertoire, including compounds like ksh, tra, gna, whose precise pronouncements are related to ayurvedic functions in physical health and self-realization procedures for moksh. Much later still, its sandhi rules grew countlessly numerous as grammar developed for communcation as a spoken language. Pāṇini is known for his text Aṣṭādhyāyī, a sutra-style treatise on Sanskrit grammar, 3,959 "verses" or rules on linguistics, syntax and semantics. What you hear in this discourse came much, much later as a superficial study and progression of modern languages and Sanskrit got lumped with other linguistic groups as cultures moved from East to west and vice versa and categories were developed for modern linguistics studies. Remember, science promotes abject materialism. Lastly, Sanskrit is not a language, per say. But rather a self-realization sounds-system, called mantr-yoga, which operates on tangible and intangible vibrations created in rigorous Vedic procedures and practises.

The proof of Sanskrit's origins in India is in the land of Rarh, which is considered as the cradle of civilization. There the original inhabitants of the soil since 1 million years still have Sanskrit in their native language. Another proof is Bhadrakalii with 50 heads (not skulls) around her neck wearing the Aksha mala or the garland of the 50 letters from A to Ksha of the Sanskrit language. This image is about 7000 years old. Latin is a granddaughter of Vedic/Sanskrit and all the Prakrta languages in India derived from the Sanskrit. Sanskrti has absorbed the vocabulary of the Vedic language from the Aryans who originated in Switzerland. Please read the books of Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar on this topic.

Vedas are one of the oldest scriptures consisting of the Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda, and Atharva Veda, which codified the ideas and practices of Vedic religion and laid down the basis of classical Hinduism. You need to make up your mind as to what you want to convey in these videos. I'm guessing you want the language, the spoken words to come through clearly. Then why are you polluting that with music? This music is not only a distraction but also wholly inappropriate for the content, for the form, and for the audience. Furthermore, the graphcis, the animations, the fade-ins and fade-outs are all unnecessary, irrelevant, and entirely distracting from your primary message. Why not show the actual words you are speaking. Since your accent is hardly understandable to anyone outside India, putting the actual words you are speaking on the screen will at least augment your poor enunciation. There are many good youtube tutorials about presenting this kind of material better. Hope you take advantage of such help for such an important topic.

Between 5000 B.C to 500 A.D. there is no language called Sanskrit in asia. Sanskrit is new age language born after 500 A.D.only. Sanskrit is developed from the base of ancient language Prakrit and the word's taken from Tamil, Avestan, Persian, Pali, European, Sumerian languages. Indo-Aryan word itself not correct. Sanskrit has no script it was using 900 A.D. born Devanagari script, mother of Sanskrit is Prakrit had also no script. Sanskrit is new age language not classical.

This was an epic video, that gives the ideas that were stolen from our culture by the British. During their initial invasion they learnt the language, romanticized it and looted all the science, mathematics, then telling us we should learn English. The ideas that Europe and white people were supreme existed, yet Indians were more educated and knowledgeable was beyond their understanding. They even forget it was the Indians that taught them the importance of hygiene and bathing. Champu is one example: Shampoo. It is very difficult for a country that was subjugated and looted for so many years to say different. Navigation comes from the Sanskrit word Navgarth. Navy, Nav. Unfortunately because the situation we were in as a people we had no say. Our culture was aged by the Christian calendar rather than the true longevity of the culture and to create and confirm their myth they created the Aryan invasion theory. Arya being a Sanskrit word as well, meaning noble person. So all these ideas that Western ideas and supremacy, was a myth, when you look at how the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Chinese used to come to India to study Philosophy, math, and sciences are recorded in their texts but never acknowledged provide proof, but have been put in the back of the library because of the causation of the West being dominant, and to loose this identity would change the way people see India and open a Pandora's box in realising what Britain actually did in India. They tried to destroy the Vedic culture, but did not succeed. Karma prevails.

Shah-guru Vikramaditya, Hindi's and Kannada's roots in Sanskrit are not limited to just words. That is the least of the similarities. What is even more significant is the spread of Sanskrit grammar and syntax along with words and phrases for such concepts. These in turn led to advances in other fields, such as math, poetry and literature. For example, the concepts of zero and infinity, no matter how they are mechnically written in Hindi or Kannada, have come from Sanskrit. Likewise, metrical systems in poetry and modular arithmetic spread from Sanskrit to these other languages. This is more significant than mere common words.

it has been said that Sanskrit was only spoken , it didn't have script on its own , isn't this the same phenomena as with Dravidian? are these statements correct?

Sanskrit is NOT the oldest language. Yes, it is one of the best languages in existence, it's the most philosophical and it is sweet sounding. But you're taking away form all that by making things up. We don't need to say it's the oldest to say that it is great. Can't you see that just makes us look desperate? Please wake up and see this. Spread the greatness of Sanskrit and Vedism by talking about their content. Not by exaggerating their age.

Tamil.is the oldest language ..An Excellent analysis is available in the following: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHTRlZ6EeL2kq5o It is made clear that oral sanskrit 3500old and written 1600 years old ..I am not sure whether the eecent findings was reviewed. Tamil brahmi or Tamili script found in Adichanallur and KEELADI IN Tamil.Nadu India were carbon dated in Florida lab proved to date back to at least 900 BC and 600 BC. .Also Indus signs were found in Keeladi too. If proved, then Tamil is the oldest of all and Aramaic came later. Tamil scroot is 2900 yrs old and oral must be 4000yrs old . India and indians must be proud of that our language Tamil is the mother of all languages. Truth will Triumph.

@@KannapiranArjunan-vm2rqdon't blindly believe in your communist sources, recent studies openly suggest Sanskrit is anywhere from 4000 to 6000 years old What you are saying was a lie propagated along with the lies of Aryan invasion theory, initially by the English and then during the Nazi germany Tamil is very old and very near the age of Sanskrit, but it is also true that it's a whole leftist propaganda going on by so called leftist intellectuals in our country who shape the education system in such a way to create a mindset like yours Vande mataram
