Great demo! I’ve had the RD Compact and RD Hot Rod Compact. Both amazing pedals, but I could not get them dialed in due to their lack of control over mids. The M-EQ is amazing. I love the way it breaks up, and the way it cleans up with the guitar volume. The adaptive circuit and cut control are absolutely brilliant. Warm distortion and jangly clean tones all available from the guitar volume control. Origin hit it out the park with this one.

Im really loving the studio effects approach Origin is taking. The Cali76 being an 1176, the M-EQ Driver having the Pultek eq, the DCX Boost utilizing the UA 610 preamp, now Im just waiting for a 1073 pre and eq in pedal form from them. 😁

Great playing and sounds. I can see this being useful for the guys playing out but for me, I have a pair of JLM PEQ500s to do the real Pultec thing for additive EQ - especially the *push me / pull you* effect as I like to call it lol. But no doubt this pedal really cooks and adds some very nice harmonics and richness. Best review I've seen/heard for this!

Sounds awesome actually! But you make every thing you demo sound great! lol Sometimes, it is so overwhelming, there are so many great pedal makers and pedals. As a long time drummer who ahs recently decided to take guitar more seriously I am just starting to get an idea of what to use to or do to get a good tone! And it is mainly thanks to great players like yourself, Pete Thorn etc,,,,and also I saw that Richard Fortus considers the Origin Effects the best Tube Screamer clone he has heard yet and that says something. though I am more of a BB circuit guy. Anyway Origin Effects seem to be pumping out some good pedals...I just wish I could afford them all! Thanks again Shawn! sorry for the novel I wrote.
