This Kid Venom story gives folktale vibes. Which makes sense giving the setting. Heck host is even called Kintaro. Which is similar to other famous folktales like Momotaro and Kentaro. He even has animal compaions and fights a bear like those two did.

This pilot manga is so cool . Definitely inspired from Japan folklore Kentaro. Also the name can be direct translate into "golden boy" cause kin is gold , taro is common name for a boy .

I wouldn't say Miles' new Vision ability is a type of X-Ray vision. I'd say it's moreso a technique that allows him to see the Electrical currents withing Nervous System. Sorta like how a Sonar System detects objects for Submarines, that's how Miles' new ability works

Yeah, just to be clear, most spiders have terrible vision, they can hardly see color and only with green and ultraviolet receptors some spiders do have a type of good vision, including wolf spiders, flower spiders, jumping spiders and net-casting spiders, but even then its not wholly incredible, theres always some sacrifice in quality or range
