They could show you a Murphy lab heavy aged and you’d know no different.

I can guarantee I can see the difference miles away. You can’t copy that lacquer at all and feel and look. It’s funny you mention Murphy. Because we actually asked Gibson if they could make a limited run for us as this as a inspiration. Murphy has already seen pictures of it and he say unfortunately he can’t make a copy of that. So here you have it 😉

Murphy makes good replicas but the originals are different, it’s impossible to recreate the look of 60 years of playing only with some tools and fake paint relic.

Cela montre à quel point les Les Paul d'aujourd'hui, ou même d'avant hier, ne sonnent absolument pas ouvert comme çà, presque télécaster dans le claquant mais en même temps avec du gras si on monte le volume, là je reconnais que je pourrais me mettre à la LP avec ceci dans les mains, mais ca ne risque pas d'arriver vu le prix des engins d'époque
