Its pretty nuts! The Flash was always hyped as a film that was going to change the DC Universe, and then it never really did. It seems like he just ended up in the wrong universe? The second ending (reminder, BOTH of these endings were filmed) shown here would have allowed us to see more of Zack Snyder's world, and as @markjames8603 mentioned in an earlier comment, would have allowed audiences to visit either mainstream or darker storylines. Yes! This is further elaborated in the deleted scenes for Flash which you can find on KZbin. In one of those scenes, younger Barry asks older Barry why Batman knows so much about the multiverse and didn't seem phased by anything so far. The older Barry says something along the lines of "maybe hes aware and hes trying to fix it." So yes, somehow this Batman is fully aware of what's going on.

They both were better endings than the ending we got with George Clooney which did not make sense and was kind of a joke. But it would have been better if Michael Keaton was there instead of George Clooney. Or it would’ve been cool if all four or five Batmans were together in that scene explaining to Barry something bad about to happen. It would’ve been cool if Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, Christian bale, Ben affleck and George Clooney were all there.

VERY good questions. I'll have to think on this. Of course the official answer is: we have no idea, the studios never elaborated or explained. But that doesn't mean we as fans can't ponder it!

After much thought, this is my conclusion: The beginning of the Flash film before he changes time is inbetween Justice League 1 and 2. Because of what the Flash does, the events of Justice League never happened on Earth except to Barry. Somehow, during this disruption, it causes Batman to be caused in this potential future that never happened.

At the end of the day, all the morons at Warner Brothers had to do was let their great directors do their thing and stay out of it. All they had to do is make superhero movies for adults.
