Peak times of Apple design and KZbin tech videos. Everything tech related was blooming every single day so quickly. Damn Alfred, time flies... all those crazy Mac videos. Alfred and Adam B were much younger, we can see the vitality and that childish-like curiosity. I wish I still had the same level of it now but you cannot reverse the time. Still, thanks to wonderful channels like yours, we can enjoy this fantastic trip down the memory lane. It upsets me but at the same time, it motivates me to create even more because nowadays everything computer related is much more convenient. From the speed of our Internet connections to the overall performance of our computers. Today, we have the whole world under the fingertip thanks to the iPhone - the miniaturization and progress that has been made since those days is unbelievable. It's gone by so fast... oh Al, shed a tear because of your latest uploads man. All these videos with David and you etc. Crazy times of my youth and vitality. Now I am getting old and grumpy but your videos resurrect my hope. If it is possible, please keep uploading more videos of yours but in better quality. The compression mechanisms of KZbin today, will preserve the quality slightly more nowadays when you upload, even those 144p videos. I am very glad I could enjoy this fantastic content of yours throughout all these years. I think you should upload more tech-related videos. I think you should restart your channel and try to take your chance in being a tech KZbinr. It would be cool to see you having 1 milion subscribers. Thank you Alfred and please never change your attitude to tech, KZbin, etc. But I know it is so hard because we will all become so wrinkly and grumpy 😢 Sometimes it is inevitable. In 2006 I had a 1.8Ghz Pentium 4 with 768mb of that RAMBUS memory that Intel locked down. OMG it was total poo!!! So glad I didn't see this back then. BTW I was reverse engineering AGP, my result was so sensationally rude that if I put it here KZbin would close your channel - thats if it detected 'Phisting' as a word XD Great video Alfred, are you upscaling in Topaz?

No, I don’t have a computer that is powerful enough to do the upscaling. What I am doing is applying some color, adjustments, brightness and contrast adjustments and also working with original source material at a better frame rate. Overall, considering the age it looks pretty good! I am glad you enjoyed it

You are welcome! This is another reason why I hold on to Mojave (it will run 32-Bit Apps) and the MacPro6,1 TrashCan (Intel Mac Studio) specifically so I can run iMovie HD! I have access to a huge library of content! Glad you enjoyed it!

Mac Pro 2008 2,6GHz -> upgraded 2 x 3,2GHz. 10 Gb RAM, 2 x SSD 2xHDD, GPU: Ati HD 7950. Widows10 installed "normally" and upgraded to windows 11 (there is trick) and Sonoma is installed using OCLP. Maybe my comment deleted, because I add few links, so I will not do that again :)@@adiblasi

lets just be glad of the good times while they lasted. its just sad that they can't make $$ AND put out good tech at the same time. WHAT has exactly improved on the Macintosh since Snow Leopard? and getting rid of Magsafe...what the hell was that about? who the hell cares about being able to use any port as a power source? the trash can mac, the cancelled (overpriced even for Apple) wireless power pad, and on and on.

LOVE the Star Track poster at about 3:08! wish i could have gone to the cons back in the 90s, they must have been a blast!! by the time i started working and had a car and all that crap Trek had been dead for like 5 years and with Kurtzmans movies stinking up the place....i dunno...i didn't want to waste a bunch of money on an event id hate. and all these years later and we still cannot get a proper Post Dominion Wars Trek Series. and those TNG films...oy vey....they're not even cannon for me...especially Nemesis. It just became stupid action schlock.
