*Great unit that’s easy to install and use. It’s relatively quiet compared to window units and **Fastly.Cool** , and it cools down our whole living room, side room and bathroom; which is a large space for any unit to cool.*

Good video. I watched it for help after installing one of these and having the fan wobble around crooked with the light trying to spin with the fan. I did everything right as you show, but I had to take it all apart to find that at the factory they did not tighten down the big nut above the motor that keeps the bottom section fixed. There is a cotter pin to keep the nut from backing off, but there was a gap between the nut and the inside of the canopy. They probably forgot or should have put a lockwasher there. The factory wiring would not allow me to take the nut off and put a washer on, so I tightened the nut down onto the canopy. Now the cotter pin sits up above the nut, so I hope it stays tight. It works OK now. Also, the instructions don't mention connecting the big square plugs together. The light is pretty dim, but the fan does look nice and it moves a lot of air.

Hi and Thanks, Reading the directions that came with the fan and watching videos on youtube wasn't clear to me until I saw your video. Changing the dip switch settings clicked to me watching your video.Thank you so much. Big thumb up for your help.👍🏾

I have a Red wire hanging from the ceiling along with 1 Constant Black Hot wire and a White wire (and ground). 2 switches on the wall for the light and fan. Instructions say to attach the red to the Blue Wire, but the Blue wire is occupied on both ends in this fan. What do I do with the Red wire? Black with Black, White with White, and Green with Green and capping off the Red wire didn’t work. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you

how do you install this flush / as a flush mount? The instructions show that as an option, but there are no directions.

These are great instructions. Issue: I have a white wire and a black wire but not sure where I am supposed to connect the green wire? It says to connect it to the Green/Bare wire from the ceiling in the manual, not sure what that actually means. Anyone else have this issue?

Thank you for this video... Still having problem with remotes. We have two of the exact same fans - one in each bedroom. We cannot get them to act separately...Am at a loss. Any suggestions?

I have a red wire and originally I left it out of the wire connections. When I was finished, nothing happened when I turned it on. So I assumed it was the wiring. I reconfigured the wiring leaving white to white, green to cooper but connected black to black, then red to black, then red/black to black and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Hi Alberto. I have to say that you should always consult with a licensed electrician if you are having electrical issues. There are a couple things to do/check before troubleshooting. FOR SAFETY, MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF AT THE BREAKER BOX BEFORE PROCEEDING! Make sure the fan is wired the way it is shown in the video. Fan Black to house black (power), fan white to house white (neutral), and fan green to house bare copper wire (ground). Cap the red wire with a wire nut and electrical tape. None of the house wires should ever touch each other, so connecting the house black and house red should never be done as that could damage your house electrical system. OK, so if the wring is done correctly, you may need to pair the remote with the fan's receiver. This is detailed at the 13:30 mark of the video. Basically, you want to start with the power off at the breaker box. Then, turn the power on at the breaker box and within 30 seconds, press and hold the LEARN button located in the battery compartment of the remote for 1 second. When the remote pairs with the fan, the light will blink twice and you should be good to go from there. Hope this helps!

We have this same fan and the remote suddenly stopped working. We replaced the battery but it still does not work. Do you have any suggestions as to what we can try to get it to work? The curious thing is that the light suddenly came on after it hadn't worked for many months and this happened while we were not home and now we don't have a way to turn it off.

I would suggest trying to pair the remote with the fan. Watch the video starting at the 13:30 mark. Change the dip switch settings in the battery compartment and then pair the remote with the fan following the instructions. It is very important to start the pairing process with the fan power turned off at the breaker box and wall switch. This will reset the receiver to receive the signal from the remote. If that doesn't work, I would suggest calling the Harbor Breeze customer service team at 1-800-643-0067. They will be able to troubleshoot and help you further.
