Original Owner VW Sunbug gets new brake lines

Part 18, removal of brake lines and master cylinder from a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle, clogged fuel line replacement.

I think the fins on the main brake line bolt going to the master cylinder have worn down making it impossible to catch and tighten on my 1969 beetle. I'm thinking of using locktitght or worst case jb weld to make the connection. Any possible ideas ?

Take a close look at the threads and try to figure out why they won’t tighten, they could be damaged beyond repair. I don’t recommend using anything on the fittings to make them seal. Unfortunately you may have to replace parts, you don’t want the brakes to fail when you need them the most. Thanks for watching.
